Staff did not communicate well from beginning to end. I took my car here for a routine Maine inspection just after having my mechanic in Massachusetts inspect the car (literally in the same month). The technician and staff members insisted I needed $350 dollars worth of work on the suspension before they could pass the car through inspection. In response, I asked my mechanic to speak with the technician. The technician barely spoke English and did not understand that the "issue" he identified was not a faulty part, but his own faulty judgement. Even after my mechanic spoke with the staff, Meineke still insisted I could not get the car through inspection without doing this work. Needless to say, I went somewhere else and had no problem getting the car through inspection. I will NEVER return to this racket of a business and I suggest you never start. What an awful experience.

I went to meineke to have my rear break pads replaced on a 2002 outback. Replacing break pads on disc breaks with the use of a lift is one of the easiest and quickest jobs a shop can do. At most this job would take an amateur 25 minutes with a lift. The father/son owners quoted me at $150 with 70 minutes of labor. If a shop is going to charge $150 for such an easy job I would expect them to get it done a little faster and not have the car sitting on the lift without anyone working on it just to charge the full 70 minutes of labor they quoted. . . so sleazy. I dont know how this place has returning customers.

I have had my vw jetta worked on twice at this Meineke by the mechanic Adam and he always does a great job, George is also very informative as well and makes the whole experience a good one. They not only tell you what is wrong with your car but they bring you into the shop and show you the problem and then discuss ways on fixing your car. I would definitely recommend this Meineke car care center on Forest Ave to anyone with car problems. A++ to this shop!

I came in as they were closing. Adam was kind enough to reopen to help me. I had a tire going flat. I was from out of town and didnt know what I was going to do. They were very helpful in getting me going again. I cant say enough about the excellent service!!! Above and beyond any service center I have been to.Thank you again for saving the day.

I was having difficulties with my car starting and Meineke was able to fit me in the same day. They even offered to lend me a car like a larger dealer. It was fast and inexpensive service. They were also happy to answer my questions and I never felt rushed. Great, honest people- highly recommended!

Had wheel bearing done on my truck. It cost me $650 .1 year and a half later they were no good. Took it to my mechanic to get it fixed and they found the backing plate was put on backwards which wore out my bearings sooner than it should have. Will never go back!

I came in on a Saturday morning with an exhaust system dragging on the ground. They gave me an honest estimate, had their technician stay late to finish the job, and ended up charging me less than the estimate. Great people and solid work. Highly recommended!
