LaRetta Taylor, is a gem, and her business, craft, technique, and expertise screams it...quietly, and humbly. Its one thing to have your "look great;" however, it takes it to another level to know that the state of your hair is well, also. What I love about More Hair! Studio, is that it is more than a salon that specializes in natural hair care; it is a gathering place, where your spirit feels uplifted, learning and communing with others, about wellness, lifes journey, the psychology of hair, and feeling beautiful from the inside, out! LaRetta Taylor has masterfully created a sanctuary...a peaceful, encouraging environment, that has become a resting place, a safe place, a meeting place, to beautify the soul, as well as the hair, and I love that! Studio appreciates their clientele, with regular customer appreciations, chocolate and wine events, on-site massages (on occasion), and even has a wonderful make-up artist on-site, at times, to top off your look. More Hair! Studio is a savior when it comes to taking care of your hair! During the beginning of my lock journey my locs were becoming weighed (too heavy...product build up, dust, lint etc.). I had my first consultation with Ms. LaRetta and then my next appointment was with Jo. After several visits and following the instructions of the EXPERTS my hair got on the right track. Fast forward several years, again my hair is being wayward. Again Jo gave me recommendations for caring for my locks and scalp in between visits. On my next visit I told Jo I used her recommendation and she in turn told me she noticed the difference in my scalp and hair from my last visit. So, to wrap it all up these women know hair and what it takes to take care and have healthy hair and a healthy scalp. I just want to say - I was very satisfied. The salon appearance/decor is very nice and the services was very professional. I was happy/pleased to know that someone actually took the time to listen about my natural needs and or concerns without rushing to do my hair. The vibe was so cool and relaxing. I am very picky and never satisfied when it comes to my hair..ummm.. PLUS I never do reviews... However, I like my hair a lot and I actually got a twist up simple do. I love it and thats what counts. I am considering the sisterlocks and if the decision is made - This will be the place. If I did social media I would have posted a pic... Thanks Ms. J.

Ive been coming to More Hair Studio for over a year and I can honestly say the staff and proprietor are professional, knowledgeable and patient. Ms. Laretta, the owner, also offers seminars, meet ups and other social events so she can get to know the clients and educate us about healthy haircare. If you want healthy hair (they do relaxed and natural hair) go to More Hair Studio.

Can you say WOW?! I witnessed Ms. LaRetta turn my mothers and several of my aunts aunts hair, from dry, thinning breakage to luscious full flowing! Talk about a transformation! The extent of hair knowledge certainly makes her a hair doctor complete with the "Ph.D". Ive never seen anything like it!
