The U-Haul employee did perform the truck walk-around with me and he had me turn in the clipboard (indicating damage/fuel level/mileage) BEFORE giving me the key to enter the truck. I was a mile down the road before I noticed the fuel gauge had less gas than was indicated on the sheet I was given. I filled the fuel back up to where it was when I received the truck, but I was still charged for gas and told by the incredibly rude "Tanisha" (who continually cut me off and spoke over me) that it was my fault for not mentioning the gas level before leaving (despite not having the key to the truck during the walk around). The U-Haul at 2929 Washington Boulevard has rude employees who dont perform their jobs correctly and the customer is the one who loses.

Whatever you do, make sure to tell them not to code it as an "in town rental" if theres any chance at all that youll want to return it somewhere else. We rented a truck to move to Montgomery County and the original plan was to bring a bed back up as a favor but that didnt end up being necessary so I called to change our drop off point. Nope, once its coded as an "in town rental" which I never asked for, it can never be changed in the system. We ended up having to spend the money on the miles and gas to drive the extra 45 minutes back simply because of this coding issue. Other than that pretty big problem, things went smoothly and the after hours drop off worked out fine.

Rented a cargo van for a business event. Nice, up-to-date vehicle with good steering, breaking, suspension, air-conditioning, radio, power locks and windows. The doors opened very wide and the automatic transmission felt very healthy. So the van and check out/in prosess was great and easy. I was however disappointed that there was no way for our business not make a fax or long distance payment. I ended up having to use my own personal card for this business expense. I was made aware that this was the policy of U-HAUL, however it feels a little outdated and stone age. Is this the first time a business and not an individual has done business with U-HAUL? Just my thoughts.

Seems to a be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of place. Personally, I had a great experience here. The customer service was exceptional. I know that seems like a tall order, but it really was. Dana couldnt have been nicer, even with me being the obnoxious one (you know, youre in a rush and you want everything youre way right away...that was me). Even the service attendant outside was friendly and casual. And checking out was a breeze. I highly recommend this place. I know Ill be using it more often.

Came in on a Saturday morning to simply rent a truck to move my bed 3 miles. They said they were booked even thought there was a truck right in their lot. Called CS, reserved a van instead. I came back 2 hours later and the truck was still in the lot. I then waited in line for 30 mins while they neglected to speed up the process of the people ahead of me. Poor management, and terrible service... dont come here unless you want to waste your day away

Called directly because online options didnt allow me to make a reservation for more than 24 hours. Keesha, Latisha, or whatever the womans name is who helped me sounded like she could care less in helping me and annoyed. After putting me on hold multiple times and hanging up on me (and denying that she did), I was finally able to make a reservation. Uhaul, please dont have crabby unhelpful people answering your phones. Very frustrating.

I was in a hurry to rent a truck and move my belongings so a friend told me to visit Ralph at U-Haul. He was very courteous and professional and was able to get a truck for me within a few minutes of entering the store. The truck was immaculate and had a new truck smell. Ralph even waited a little after hours to make sure I was situated. Having moved 6 times in the past 9 years it has been the best truck rental experience Ive had!

The people who work here are ignorant and lazy they dont want to do their job they dont even want to put down their phone long enough to answer a question by a customer that walks in refuse to run us a truck for whatever reason even though we had reservations ended up having to go to a different U-Haul because the people at this one didnt want to do their job

Called and checked the availability, lady answer the phone very pleasent, , upon arriving at location warm welcome and the manager Mr. Williams very courtioce and pleasent, checked me in in few minutes and I was on the road, when I returned the truck the girl name wynae was very helpful and every word of her was full of smile. They earned my future business.

Went in there today and was told that I could not get a rental because my name was not on the card being used for the deposit even though the person whom the card belonged to was right there with me. I called customer service and they apologized and said that that was a lie. Didnt get her name but a short stubby miserable ×$%÷!

Needed to do a one-day move of lots of clutter to a storage unit. Reserved online ahead of time. Ralph was friendly and helpful when I arrived for pick-up. I was then on my way quickly and they also made drop-off easy. Will be coming back here when we move to our next house. Thanks guys!

They installed the hook-up for the lighting for our trailer on the same day that we requested the service. The employees were respectfully and efficient. The price was pretty good too, considering what the dealership was asking for.
