When things just dont go your way or when you feel like you received poor customer service most people are quick to write a complaint letter. I just want to take time out and write an appreciation/thank you note to Ms. Terry and Ms. Karen. My wife and I are in the process of moving to the area and I decided to rent a storage unit. Thanks to Ms. Terry and Ms. Karen they made the transaction simple and easy. I was a little indecisive about what size unit I should rent. They explained why it was better to rent a larger unit then switching it to a smaller one, which would save me money. Really, they actually help me save money. (WOW). During the transaction we educated each other on music. I actually stayed longer than the transaction called for because I was having a great time. I also received some great tips on moving and storage. Thanks once again to Ms. Terry an Ms. Karen you guys are the best.

The Public Storage located in the Denbigh section of Newport News is the best run and maintained storage facility I have ever experienced. We are community based program which services over 225 local families. We needed a storage that was secure, easy to access and inexpensive. We found that at this location. The manager Terry is extremely professional and understanding. She cares about her customers and the product she provides. We have been storing items at this location for over eight years and have never had a problem and Terry is the very example of what support your community should be. MANY MANY THANKS. J. I wasnt necessarily planning on renting from that particular location on that day (as I was intending to shop around a bit more) But Terry at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, took me on a tour of what they had to offer, and answered all my questions/addressed my concerns so well, I felt like I really didnt need to continue my search. Plus, their prices were the cheapest I have seen for this area. The insurance IS mandatory ($9) but she was up front about it, so no worries. You can also get a better deal by reserving a space online that shaves off a few $$, which levels out the insurance cost.

I would definitely give this location 5 stars because of the amazing customer service I received from Mrs. Terry! She went above and beyond to not only help me find the right size storage unit (after the 800 number gave me bad information) but she then followed up with me to see if it really did meet my needs. She made me feel like she wasnt just trying to make a sell but that it was important to her that I, as the customer, was completely satisfied. She gave A+ service! and I truly appreciated it.

Jerry was great!! She helped us understand which size unit to get based on the square footage of our home. She encouraged us to use mattress covers so that we wouldnt damage our items. She drove us to our unit on their golf cart (and even warned me she was going... since I was sitting in the back, just to ensure that I was hanging on). She was just a delight to work with! I would recommend anyone to use Public Storage on Jefferson near Fort Eustis any day!

This location couldnt pay me to use their facilities. Told me they didnt have the size unit I needed, but called the 800 number and they said they had 5 available. The woman called and said she thought I wanted a parking spot, not an enclosed unit. I was physically at the store earlier and discussed that I needed an enclosed unit. Dont waste your time here. Clearly lazy employees that dont have an ounce of customer service experience.

this was my third storage i have used and has been my favorite so far. Terry has been the most helpful and friendliest manager i have came across. very accommodating and even helped with my son while trying to get the storage lease signed and when moving all my stuff in. i first got a 10 by 20 but father in law said it was to big. Terry transferred me to a 10 by 15 with no problem and the unit was great. such a nice lady.

We reserved our unit on line and shortly after received a phone call to arrange a time to come in and complete the process. Lynda was very friendly, polite, and professional, she showed us our unit, it was clean and neat. She had all of our forms ready to go and we were in and out in no time at all. Lynda is a pleasure to work with, and Id be happy to recommend this to all of my friends looking for a storage unit.

She needed climate controlled and recommended a 10X10 that seemed to have plenty of room for what needed to be stored. This Public Storage has been such an awesome experience. As a soldier getting ready to deploy they helped me through the entire process, from the very start to the very end. The staff their are very nice and friendly people. Terry and Linda are awesome! If you have storage needs this is definitely the place to go! I recommend it to all soldiers as well as others!
