I went here a few weeks ago to get my oil changed and my tires rotated. When I dropped my car off, I was alone, but my boyfriend David was with me when I picked the car up. Upon picking up my vehicle, I specifically asked the gentleman who was helping me (the manager, nonetheless) if my tires had been rotated and he told me "yes, absolutely," and took my money. As I walked to my vehicle, David stopped next to my car, looked at my tires, and informed me that my tires had not been rotated. Since David works with cars, I trusted his judgement. He went inside while I waited at my vehicle and upon returning, informed me that once he confronted the manager, the manager proceeded to lie to Davids face initially and say that they had been rotated, then later changed his story and gave some pitiful excuse that "the Department of Transportation states that you should always have your best tires in the back." By this logic, you would never need to rotate your tires in the first place! David then specifically asked the mechanic who worked on my vehicle (his name is Jesse) if he rotated them, to which the mechanic was at least honest in his negative response. David and I then watched as Jesse rotated my tires (incorrectly, I might add- even I, someone with limited knowledge of vehicles, know that when rotating tires, you do so in an X fashion, not simply straight back, like the mechanic did to my car). At the end of it, the manager did not give me a refund, a coupon, or even an apology, which I think is disgraceful for someone who works at the head of a business. I will be taking my business to the other Mr. Tire in the area, located in Lexington Park, MD-at least they are honest and not crooks like this location was!

I was given very poor service today at the Mr Tire at 44915 Worth Avenue California, MD 20619. I was told that they couldnt find the key to take off the lug nuts to my tires. The Manager Mr David Alkire told me that I needed to look to see if I could find it myself. I searched my car for them and couldnt find it myself. I looked everywhere in my car for the key, even checking my pockets to make sure I didnt place it there by mistake. After I couldnt find it they said it would cost me a bit extra to remove the lug nuts. Later after receiving the car back from them I was getting back into my car I noticed the key laying in my seat. I dont know how both myself and the technicians could have not seen it laying there in such an obvious location. I dont know how it got there but I am positive that it was not there when I was told to look for it myself. When I brought it to the magagers attention after heading back he told me he cannot refund me because I oked the service and even looked myself. He tried to offer me a free oil change which doesnt amount to the same I was charged for the nut removal. I refused and asked for my money back, how can I trust they will even do it? I will never use that store or any other of their stores again.

I would give it zero star if I could. So we were in there for an oil change on Saturday. Took the car in around 10:30ish. By almost 1 PM, they still have not touched the car. When we asked them how much longer, they told us "15 mins." That was the longest 15 mins ever cos it felt like 2 1/2 hours. Oh ... and if you want faster service, bring a luxury car in. They started working on a Jaguar right away as soon as it was brought in. That was after we waited 2 hours for a oil change for our Camry! And please dont believe in every single positive reviews on here. I am sure some are legit. But they posted on the board right above their cash register that you would get 10-15% off if you give a CONFIRMED google and/or Yelp review. How ethical is that? Bribing for reviews! Will not go there again. Worst customer service ever!

I cant overstate this, they are thieves. I had an engine light come on, checked the code first and narrowed down what was most likely the problem, but didnt have time to get the part and do the work myself. Took the car there, and they hooked it up and then told me everything listed by that code needed replaced. I told them that was crazy to say that all 4 of those parts went bad at exactly the same time to trigger that code. They said they have a $3000 machine that told them that, and if I dont want to repair it it would cost $80 for the diagnostics. Then I contacted Mr. Tire corporate with my complaint and never heard anything back at all. Ive taken cars to the Mr. Tire in La Plata and had good experiences with some nice folks there, but down here I would not trust the people at Mr. Tire for anything.

After waiting 2 days to get my muffler fixed, I picked up my car and found they had broken my drivers side handle off of the door. I can not get into my car to drive w/ out crawling in from another door to open the drivers door. Of course when i discovered this to leave, no one who was there, from the day before actually working on my car was still there, they said NOTHING to me about it. Took two days cause wrong parts were delivered the first day, Still waiting to hear from management about it. UPDATE -Management agreed to fix the problem at no cost, other then one more morning at the shop, satisfied w/ final outcome, and original muffler work was fine.

We took a used car that we were looking to buy for check up to assure it was not a lemon. Took it Mr Tire and paid $110 for health check. They told us everything checked out OK. A week later the oil system problem appeared (no oil in sump). A week later I had issues with starting my van. Called back and said why they didnt find any problems, only to find a canned answer that they check everything. To their credit did agree to check out the electrical system. To my surprise they said everything was OK again. asked what is causing the battery to drain and answer was they have no clue. Incompetence is all I can say. Paid $110 for nothing.
