If I could give this place zero stars I would have! Theyre a bunch of crooks who tell you that "they do everything the "right" way". We were told that our 2007 SUV would not pass inspection due to a failing emissions test because the check engine light was on and that the code was SO specific to our car that they could not figure it out. They also said that we had a bad tie rod end and 1 tire failed. They told us they could fix everything for us for just shy of a grand!!!! We took the car to another mechanic who told us the tie rod end was NOT bad AND that all they had to do for the engine light was clear it out and drive it for 25 miles to make sure it wouldnt come back on and it would pass the emissions test. I called the "manager" of this place today and he was so undeniably rude I couldnt even believe it! Customer Service is clearly not something they teach to these people at Midas. They charged us $54 for an "inspection" so that they could get more money out of us if we had them fix all the "problems" they found! and then when called out on the crap job, just got rude with me! I would not recommend this place to anyone who needs work to their vehicle. If we didnt know better, we would have been out a lot of money - thank goodness we didnt trust these people to do a decent job!

After failing my cars inspection, the estimate they gave me for the repairs was way overpriced for parts and labor costs. So instead of having the repairs done with them I purchased all the parts I could find for far cheaper than their estimate for parts. I did some repairs myself for free (brakes, rotors, and repairing a broken windshield wiper fluid line), and had the rest of the repairs done at Pa Auto Services for far cheaper than what they wanted. There was even one particular part (the EGR valve) that they wanted me to pay $400 for a replacement, not even including the labor to put it on. I didnt even need to replace the part to pass inspection, all it needed was cleared out and they didnt even offer that as an option to me. Overall they treated me like I was some kind of Idiot who knew nothing of cars. NEVER. GO. HERE.

This is the best place to get your vehicle inspected and/or repaired. They are great at diagnosing cars and know the difference between something minor that can be ignored or monitored and something that actually requires a fix. The bill is always reasonable, and Ive never had a problem with a repair. Ive been going there for about fifteen years. They answer all my questions and are always extremely polite and courteous. Im not sure if this detail helps anyone, but the cars of mine they have serviced over the years include an old Honda Accord, an Acura 3.2TL and an Infiniti G35X.

My partner and I have spent a couple thousand dollars between our two vehicles at this Midas location in the past couple months (mostly on tires). We have both found this Midas polite, friendly, punctual and honest. While we arent car mechanics, neither one of us is mechanically illiterate either, and we have been very satisfied with the explanations of our various repairs. We have been pleasantly surprised with their reasonable prices. We plan on patronizing this Midas exclusively in the future, although hopefully not too often!

These guys are great - my friend lives in the Lancaster area and always uses them. When I had a problem with my Honda, and nobody could figure it out, I actually drove from Baltimore to their shop to see if they could solve it. They did! They were incredibly honest, and reasonably priced. The owner (Scott) could not have been more accommodating and friendly, and I drove home finally feeling like a mechanic didnt rip me off! I highly recommend them.

The brake/rotor scam.... so heres what will happen at inspection. The guy will look over your car and pull a pad off say something like "heat damage" if the pad has lots of life, and on top you will need to replace rotors and calipers ect. about $800. The big box places all run this gig. Find a small trust worthy garage and make appointments ahead of time. - my guy was booked out 2 wks ( an honest business usually is).

Aaron, Scott, and the whole crew there are great! Always friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Just this past Sat. they stayed after 4pm(when they close) to get our car fixed for our weekend trip. We always go to them because they are thorough AND honest. Letting us know whats needed vs. whats recommended so that we can make the right decisions.

Making a late inspection, I called a few places with no luck. I called here and they were able to get me in, and would take about an hour and a half for inspection. They were very professional and finished in under an hour. They provided me detailed information on things I may need in future. I will come here again in the future.

My first time visiting this business. I needed my inspection and an oil change. Not only did they get done the required work for my inspection, Kyle the service tech offered to pick me up at my house because I couldnt get there before they closed. Where else do you find service like this?! Thanks again, guys.

We called down to the Columbia Ave store to find out what the pricing would be like to get spark plugs, an oil change, and an inspection. The employee on the phone was rude from the beginning to end of the call; and the only answer he gave me was to take it to the dealer.

Do the correct thing and dont ever have work done at this shop!!! Manager is very unprofessional and employee used nothing to protect the seats or carpet from very dirty clothing. Use the station on Lincoln Hwy. The manager is very helpful and employees are great

Went to have car inspected and needed work done. Price quoted for diagnostics at Midas was $80 higher then dealership and Midas wanted $150 + more for the actual work then the dealership. Why go to Midas if the dealership is cheaper.

When I got my car inspected, they overcharged me, and when I went to a mechanic a few weeks later about a funny sound, it was discovered that my brake pads had been put on incorrectly and were damaging my car!
