Ok I dont even know where to begin! The receptionist is awful, her outfit looked like she was working the door at a strip club ugh! Its sooo dirty! The combs drop on the floor they pick them right up and put it in your hair, the brushes they use to blow dry have hair from the last client in it and the owner herself did not take the old hair out!!! She just put that dirty brush in the lady hair omg! The rollers are beyond dirty! If you dare to go just look at the drawers everyone is covered with dirt and other people hair, the flexis! Wow it has like 3 different layers of old used end wraps stuck to them and yes they used them on a client papers old gel dirt n all, the shampoo is soo cheap my hair was still dirty after 3 very thorough shampoos and I dont use alot of product in my hair so there was no build up, when the stylist started blowing my hair all i could smell was my dirty hair wow! Last but not least after all of this the manager tries to push over~priced product that they dont even use in the salon, she swears by this morroccan oil! She want 40 but its $20!!! Oh i almost forgot out of all the stylist there only 3 stations had licenses, and only 2 of the 3 were there so they dont even have licenses, smh!!! And it was about 5 stylist there, if you dont want bacteria and germs stay away!!!!

Ive only been to this salon once, and my experience was not that great. I was really excited to find a Dominican salon in my area because you usually have to all the way to Montgomery County or DC to find a good one. So I went and the stylists were nice enough, but when it came to putting the perm in, thats just where everything went wrong. When I say that the stylist BURNED my scalp, I mean I was sitting in the chair wincing with pain. I kept telling her that it was burning a lot (way past the usual tingly burning sensation) and she assured me that she just had to go through it one more time and kept adding more and more chemicals. It wasnt until she saw tears streaming down my face through my complaints that she rushed me to the shampoo bowl. And even then she walked around and talked with her co-workers. Even after rinsing my hair out I could still feel the pain from the raw flesh around my edges. The hairstyle I came out with was nice enough, but I will never go to this salon again. The whole front edge of my hairline and the hairline on the left side of my head by my ear have visible raised burn marks and scars. I thought I knew what I perm "burning" meant, but I have never experienced so much pain or discomfort in a hair salon before. It was simply unbearable.

This was my first time going. Estrella (I probably butchered the spelling) did my hair and it was great! She did an amazing wash and seemed knowledgable about hair. I had a chance to speak with Monica at the end who answered nearly all my questions concerning hair care, especially since I work out. I have always been weary about going to the domincans consistently because of the "too much heat" accusations; however, after asking her nearly 100 different questions concerning it, she was able to provide solid answers and examples/scenarios...which was nice because I wouldve understood if she became defensive by them. Nonetheless, descent place; feels like a ma and pa shop haha and from what I saw, they are continuously cleaning in there. I would definitely go back :) 4 stars because when I walked in for the first time, there was no one upfront and I wasnt sure if I was suppose to walk to the back or what. Rather the stylist that was doing someones hair just looked at me until I asked what to do hahaha. Its all good!

NATURAL GIRLS BEWARE...I went to this salon for 2 year...In the beginning I loved it...Im natural (SO I THOUGHT) and my hair was staying straight in the summer. Little did I know they were using some kind of chemcal straightner in my hair....My hair started to thin...I have fine hair any way and didnt need a CHEMICAL to straighten my hair. I let her Dye my hair not knowing that they were using a CHEMICAL straightner in my hair...As a result my hair thinned and fell out...My mom was going to Monica as well and the same thing happened to her. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE NO LONGER GO to Hair Company USA...When I asked what was going on with my hair I was told "I was sleeping on the back of my hair and thats why it fell out...NATURAL GIRLS BEWARE!!!!! Before this I had NEVER EVER HAD A PERM OR ANY KIND OF CHEMICAL STRAIGHTER IN MY HAIR....I had to cut my hair very short and start over.

Walked in to get a blow out asked how much, the lady made up some outrageous price of $75 (without a trim!) I was already there so I went along with it. But it didnt stop there. She asked me was my hair tangled like she wanted to charge me more, but it wasnt, I had combed through it. Next when it was time to shampoo, told me I needed to use their special shampoo because the ordinary one wouldnt get my hair clean. I was confused because Ive never had this problem before. Told me it would cost $10 extra! Didnt stop there! Told me my hair was so thick, if I wanted my hair to lay flat I would have to get the special press out for another $10. They tried to charge me $95 to straighten my hair! (Shoulder length) without a trim!!! I walked out! Just plain tacky. Business must have been slow. I can see why!

I WOULD NEVER GO BACK AGAIN I went to the Hair company last sunday which was Nov 6 I waited for two hours before i got my so called "Blow out". The customer service was not good also i noticed while i was waiting a lady came in with a zip-lock back with her hair in it because her hair fell out after a lady permed it last time. My hair didnt even last to the next day it was flat no bounce shine or anything. Another thing that I Notice is that only two of the stylist were Dominican the rest were black which is false advertisement and prices are extremely high for non-Dominican stylist who dont know how to craft the technique of a Dominican Blow out and using Dominican products. I go to Dominican salons because I hate how African Americans do my hair. I DO NOT AND MEAN DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON...

so ive been going to this salon for 2 months and i have to say i am EXTREAMLY sastisfied. i used to go to luisas hair salon (silver spring MD) and was dissapointed because they would always use the blow dryer on my hair even though i would tell them not to and it made my hair fall out and made it thin. but after i started going the the usa dominican salon i saw rapid results and my hair grows really fast, they know that the blow dryer isnt good for my type of hair and they know all the right products to use for my hair and monica is amazing i love her. they really got my hair back on track this is definetly my new salon.
