Kim, owner, is very unprofessional and deceiving! I had a horrible experience there. Kim will say what you want to hear to make your appointment. The stylist, Addie, did a rushed job put super glue on my natural hair and used no products to groom the hair when finished. She pressured me to pay and then rushed out to pick up her daughter. I reluctantly paid because Kim was on the phone with Addie and said she would handle it. But when I called Kim she wouldnt answer the phone. This runaround lasted 5 days back and forth without a resolution. Whenever she would answer my call she would act like something was wrong with the connection or had someone else answer the phone to say she wasnt available. Also, whenever she did call back it would be HOURS later. She would tell lies and make promises. Nothing was ever resolved. Kim works a full time job elsewhere, so the shop is not managed proficiently. Kim has no customer relations skills and definitely no interest in satisfying the customer. I have never been so disrespected and humiliated by any other business before. When I demanded a receipt, Kim dated the receipt 2010 and its 2015. So she meant ill will from the start. Im, also, wondering why she wouldnt give me her last name. There were no other clients at the shop the entire time I was there so I am sure others have had the same or similar experience they just didnt take the time to write a review. The last time I spoke to Kim she was suppose to call me back after her kids went to bed and that was 3 days ago. Ive been HAD and looked a HOT MESS! But, Im straight now thanks to Elegance Hair Braiding in Suitland. Still down $230 though.

They are horrible. I paid for a full sew in..I wanted my hair curled..The hair dresser said she left her curler at home since the shop is only suppose to do braids and not weave..Its a hair salon around the corner that do weave so if the landlord or the shop found out,they might shut them down. The owner then told me if they curled my hair,they would charge me more money to curl.So I went home with my weave and styled it myself. Please avoid this place. I have never had to pay more money to style my hair..Its included in the price.
