Let me start out by saying the Altland Family Barber Shop is second to none when it comes to first rate family care and service. The shop has always accommodated us. I dont understand the above comment that Aimee made above. As a business owner myself this customer was clearly late for her own appointment and attempted to put the blame on the business who she herself states always took care of her. The reason I go here is because I am treated like family. If I was late for an appointment then I would accept responsibility for that and understand I would have to reschedule. Accept responsibility for your actions and dont blame a business for your own inability to be on time. Long story short, first hand I will say that I trust this establishment and would refuse to go anywhere else. This business attempts to build a life long relationship with you, and truly cares. I wouldnt take my family anywhere else. I wouldnt trust anyone else to cut my familys hair. Thank you

Very friendly affordable hair salon. My kids have been getting their haircut their whole life by Shad Atland. My husband has been going there for over 20 years. Ive tried other places when we are in a bind and the kids are miserable with their haircuts compared to the way Shad cuts hair. Appts are necessary way ahead of time because everyone goes there! You can get lucky and get in with a cancellation. The ladies there are amazing also. Ive seen them do beautiful hair colors and really nice cuts on women, men and kids. So very worth it if you can wait!!!

After using this salon several times, I was appalled to find out that being ten minutes late for an appointment for my 2 year old son with my infant in tow meant he would have to wait an hour or return on another day. When I arrived a customer was not being taken care of. I thought from the beginning that this salon was very family oriented, but have discovered quite the opposite and they have no consideration for a young mother with young children.
