My mother is Leah Vasquez , I was not happy with my hair. Tina is a liar , and does not know what she is doing , I would not recommend you leaving your hair in her hands. I have currently been seeing another hair dresser for the past 4 months and she does wonders, she has stopped my hair from completly breaking all my hair off after tina ruined it. If you are looking for someone good I reccomend that you go to hair cuttery in princefredrick maryland. My hair dresser says she has no idea what tina put in my hair , but it was not worth the 150 dallors that my mother paid. I recently got the real keretain treatment and it looks fabulous , nothing like what tina did.

Do not go here for an up-do! My daughter went here for prom hair and had a very incompetent blond lady try 2 different up dos after being shown 4 different pictures. She was not professional enough to ask for help. So after 2 hours, my daughter walked out with her hair down in loose curls and a pitiful braid. Luckily a nearby salon squeezed us in and saved my daughters hair. What a stressful experience! Even worse, after the prom rush had died down, I went back that afternoon to ask for my money back and the owner, Tina, refused. Unbelievably bad customer service! This business will not last long....

Really nice people, but i had a bad experience. If it was not for their hospitality, and them giving me my money back and them offering me a deep conditioning treatment, i would show the picture where crystal ruined my hair. My hair was horrible, but after spending 6 hours in the salon, i didnt even notice crystal "forgot" to show me the back of my hair It was so bad coworkers asked me where i went so they wouldnt go there. If you see anyone, see Tina, she is the one who has experience.

I have been going to Hair In the Square for about a year. The atmosphere is friendly, fun and very professional. I am not from this area and feel so blessed to have found such a great salon. Crystal is my stylist, she is fantastic with cut, color, highlights, lowlights, glazes and styles. I get my hair cut and colored about every five to six weeks; each time Crystal and I review my needs and she gives me her professional suggestions. I would not go anywhere else!!

Absolutely you must go here! Just went for first time, Ive tried Bella Salon and Amore Salon but both let me down. Alicia cut my hair here and did a FANTASTIC job! Wow! She had me sit in her chair, we discussed what I wanted, then took me to shampoo/condition (which you could tell she took her time with, I was in heaven), cut my hair even better than I described, and blew it out beautifully. 5 stars all around, so happy with Alicia, this is my new salon!

I am one of those that most stylists hate, I never know what I want done other than "something" different. Both Tina and Crystal have experienced this challenge and the results from each has been perfect! One of the best surprises was the relaxing head massage while shampooing my hair. The only "negative" I have is, it would be helpful if the prices were posted, other than that I love coming here!

Tina was fake and lied to my after she ruined my daughters hair. She put a permanent straightening product xtenso in her hair after I wanted a keratin treatment. Her hair is like straw and breaking off. Ugh and on top of that she argued with me and refused to give me my money back.
