I had an appointment with Abby that I missed so I was a walk in around 5 I was seen by Quisha. She was great! I have semi natural hair because I am transitioning. She trimmed my ends and gave me a flexi rod roller set. I sat under the dryer for an hour and a half she checked on me a reasonable amount of times and she styled me to perfection. The rod set was $45 but I had over 100 rods in my head and the trim was $14 so $59 all together. She was great she had a nice conversation and gave me great tips as well as help me see how much relaxed hair I have left. I went back to her two days later to purchase the design edge control. She then sold me the edge stuff and spruced my hair up and put it on for me for free ( I tipped her anyway)! The staff was friendly there were lots of conversation going on none of that ghetto gossip everyone was in everyones conversation peacefully. The environment was perfect. I was in and out in less than two hours I didnt have to wait a long time for my services and I have really thick hair so she got me under the dryer ASAP. I live in MD and I will be driving back to norfolk va just for her services. My trip was worth every penny!

I had my first experience with hair cuttery.. on Wednesday March 15.. I went in and had my haircut.. and I explained what I wanted in great depth.. but left the shop displeased.. and shared my displeasure with the girl who cut my hair.. yet she let me leave unhappy none the less.. I called the next morning and spoke with store manager.. (Lauren) and explained I was upset.. and she made arrangements to take care of me the following morning.. at (10am) time at her request.. and apologized for the previous visit.. I then show up the next morning and the girl who messed up my hair was the only one in the shop.. she tells me Lauren doesnt come it till 2pm.. and processed to call her.. and then tells me she not coming in till 2pm.. I explained she scheduled an appt with me at 10am.. and again I was told.. no.. all in all I had a very unpleasant experience with them.. and I won t be returning.. especially if thats how clients/ costumers are treated.. and this is how they conduct business.. very upsetting..

I just had a haircut with Abby from Hair Cuttery. She listened to what I wanted and did a great job! Abby was very professional and fun. She can also do all types of hair. I walked right in and only had to wait 15 minutes. My shampoo, cut, and style was only $20. If you want good service and decent prices go to Hair Cuttery and ask for Abby.
