BEWARE OF SALON!!!! I am writing this review for my wife. Currently I am stationed in Afghanistan and I got a message from my wife today saying she had the worst experience ever at this salon. She went there wanting to dye her hair. Well Chrissy the person doing her hair said she couldnt do her hair blonde because her hair is so black. Personally I believe Chrissy is very inexperiences because my wife has have had blonde highlights before. So Chrissy offers to do a test on the color. After it is done she without showing my wife the color she says its not going to work and if she would like a haircut instead. My wife said no I am not going to do anything because she really wanted the blonde highlights. On the way out the door she is informed she owes 20 dollars. My wife was confused because they didnt do any service for her. They responded by saying since you sat in the seat and you took our time you have to pay. Also they said it was 20 bucks for the hair color test. But they went back and forth on what the charge was for. This company is very unprofessional and the do not derserve anyones business. She explain to them that she really didnt feel obligated to pay because they didnt provide a service. They still were not listening. My wife and I both believe this company is poorly ran. Jen the owner is very immature and disrespectful. Honestly its not a big deal because it was only 20 dollars but when we have brave men and women fighting for a freedom overseas and on our own soil I feel it is important to single these kind of scumbags out who are stealing from people and feel there are no conciquences for there actions. Again do not go hear. They charge for every little thing and honestly I would rather go to a supercuts at a mall. This salon is FAAAARRRRRRR from having professional staff and I hope people will heed my warning about this place.

I love this salon so much!! The women there are not only all extremely sweet and accommodating but they also do great hair! I have been going to Bombshell for over 3 years. I stumbled in there unexpectedly wanting to get my hair fixed from previous terrible haircut. They worked with me for months helping correct my bad haircut and I ended up loving it there and have been there ever since (best decision ever for myself and for my hair!). I am in the salon every 7 weeks and I have enjoyed every experience there. My stylist there is incredible and she has been doing my hair for 2 years now. She gives wonderful insight into what she thinks will look good and work appropriately with my hair/skin color/face shape and I have never left the salon disappointed. I have also been growing out my bob haircut for a little less then a year and she has been so great in helping not want to just chop it all off (believe me, its been quite a journey thus far). I recommended this salon to anyone who is looking to get a new stylist or is new to the area. So much love to Bombshell Salon and all of their stylists!! xoxo

I came recently for a blow dry and style with iron before having engagement photos taken with my fiancé. It was my first visit and I was excited to try a new place because of the great reviews. While my stylist was very friendly and nice and did a good job on my hair, I left feeling disappointed because I was surprised with a $35 charge for a deep conditioning treatment. While the stylist was washing my hair, she mentioned that it seemed a bit dry and that if I had some extra time, she could use a deep conditioner that would take 10 minutes to set in. In hindsight I should have asked if there was an extra charge but assumed she would have told me if there was. At the end when I went to pay, she told me the conditioning treatment was an additional $35 to the price of the blow dry. I was extremely surprised by this extra charge but I was in a rush and didnt want to argue so I paid for everything but still left feeling cheated. So beware of surprise charges from the stylists if you come here.

This is the one & only salon that I can recommend to any of my friends and state that it truly does not matter who you end up with...because every single stylist produces quality! I can walk in with ease, actually relax, and just know that everything is going to be more than just OK. Jen, the owner, is so awesome on all accounts. I have a lot of respect for her and how she runs her business - commendable to say the very least. As far as eyelash extensions are concerned ~ Amy is your woman. When they told me they were going to start doing them, I didnt even hesitate, and I havent turned back. Impeccable job, I havent had any issues with them. I only wish Bombshell had another location closer to DC/VA. Until then, its worth the hike!

I have loved going to this salon for about a year... I hate haircuts so Melanie was always wonderful. I can never get an appointment because when I call I get passed from person to person and no one will take the appointment. I have tried 4 times now to get an appointment for the past three months and to no avail. I will be switching salons because being put on hold for an average of 10 minutes every time I call is a little crazy... And even after the 10 minutes, no one returns to the phone so I have to hang up.

I had my wedding hair and makeup done here!! I was very impressed with my hair and makeup on my wedding day!! Likewise, my bridesmaids hair was adorable when they were finished, but when we were about to head over to the ceremony, their curls were falling out and we had to re-curl their hair. Other than that, they were great to work with and great customer service!! I would recommend brides going here!!

After having a bad experience at a different salon, one of friends recommended that I come here. My stylist, Lauren, was so sweet and very keen on making sure I left with similar hair to the photos I showed her. Absolutely love my cut and color and was so impressed by the set up of salon. It is a tad pricey, but my hair looks so amazing I dont mind paying a little extra.

Nothing but good things to say. I brought my 15yo daughter here needing help to get a weeks worth of unkemptness managed after surgery and her hoorahs nest becoming pretty close to dreds (Jaime - wonderful job). Have been back 2x since myself for a mens cut and will be going back again (Natalie - also excellent).

Such wonderful ladies!! Ready and willing to go beyond and above for their clients. They did a great job with my hair and make up on my wedding day (as well as my beautiful bridesmaids and mother, and flower girl) Worthwhile experience! Recommend!!!
