CrossFit PCR has been a life changing experience! I started in January and the results that I can see and feel now are amazing! Even after 6 weeks I was impressed. I learn something new every single time I go to a class, and the coaches do a great job at answering your questions and walking you through every step of the workout. They explain it in a way that is simple and makes sense. CrossFit PCR is all about community and engagement as well! Small, intimate classes allow the coaches to provide one-on-one training for each person, as well as helps to keep each other motivated- its great to have some fun competition! They offer so many different types of learning opportunities for people of all ages that works for all different types of schedules. There is no discrimination, judgement, or negativity that comes from CrossFit PCR- the vibes are all about encouraging each other and making each other better!

I have been going to Crossfit PCR for almost a year. Before I started I was very intimidated by the thought of Crossfit. The perception that I had of Crossfit before I started was not great. I started out thinking that I would try it for a couple of months so that I could try to get in shape before a wedding that I was in. I quickly learned that Crossfit was nothing like I imagined. The coaches are absolutely incredible. Every week I am surprised at how many of the workouts and movements that I can do. The environment is very relaxed and it is not a competitive (you compete against yourself). You can modify the workouts as needed and every workout is different so it stays interesting. The best part is that the group of people at the gym are incredible and make working out enjoyable. I highly recommend it, no matter what your fitness background it.

I started Crossfit roughly 4 weeks ago. I was very hesitant to even jump into a program that seemed as daunting as Crossfit. They work so closely with you to perfect your technique and improve your overall fitness that you forget for a few moments how intense and tough the workouts progress. My endurance level has skyrocketed and my overall feeling about myself and my strength is so positive. It is more than just lifting running pull ups sit ups its about bettering yourself and pushing yourself to be the best person you know you can be. Their gym is top quality spacious and their knowledge about the workouts is great. They are always there to answer questions and help you improve! You may be sore for a workout or two but you wont be disappointed.

Working hard really CAN be fun! Joined Crossfit PCR after having quite a few conversations with Bronson & Jamie about the safety of the workouts vs. a back injury I was working through. I was a skeptic to say the least - had heard so many stories of people who had hurt themselves doing these crazy workouts. Jamie & Bronson are PHENOMENAL coaches! Every move is broken down into its individual elements. Scaling is encouraged - get it "right" before you move on. Form and safety are priorities here. I can honestly say that after 2 months of working out at Crossfit PCR, my back is getting better, my body shape is changing, and I feel GREAT! Have also met a lot of really good people who are a part of this community. Join us!!!

My husband and I have always lifted at various gyms and were in decent shape, ate well, etc... and then we discovered PCR where you will transform yourself into excellent physical condition under terrific coaching while having a blast challenging yourself in a class atmosphere! Both our children enjoy the kids classes, which are age-appropriate workouts designed to be safe and fun, and have definitely enhanced their performance in soccer, track, and cross county. It doesnt matter how old you are, how fit or out of shape you currently are, or if you have never worked out before... everyone starts somewhere... but the PCR crew is so supportive and we laugh/moan the whole class together!

My CrossFit experience spans over three years at three different gyms in two different states. The coaches at CrossFit PCR have been some of the best coaches Ive worked with to date. They are extremely friendly and focused on athlete performance and form. Since joining PCR Ive personally broken 2 PRs both of which I had no intention of breaking that soon. As one of the few inaugural members that had experience with CrossFit when the gym first opened, I can say Im amazed with how fast the new members improved in under 6 months. If youre looking to get into CrossFit I would highly recommend joining PCR, you wont be disappointed with the results you see after just a couple of months.

At 40 years old, after hearing all the hype, I finally decided to try CrossFit at the beginning of this year. Fortunately, I came to CrossFit PCR. Im not sure what other first time CrossFitters are experiencing at their boxes, but I hope they are being coached by people who are as welcoming, encouraging, and knowledgeable as the coaches at PCR. I hope they are being challenged to compete, not with the other people in the gym, but with themselves. I hope they are being pushed to discover what they are truly capable of. Because thats what Im experiencing. If youre out there in a CrossFit box somewhere, and thats not what youre getting, come to CrossFit PCR: Pride, Community, Results.

As a Division 1 swimmer I was looking for somewhere to obtain one-on-one experience to better improve my lifting form and technique for out of the pool training. I completed 4 personal sessions with Bronson and learned more than anywhere Ive ever been before. Bronson not only exceeded my expectations by fixing my weak points, but he also taught me how to avoid injury when performing specific lifts. Ive used and will use what Ive been taught during my sessions for the rest of my athletic career. Very please with my experience. I highly recommend CrossFit PCR to anyone who is looking to physically and mentally better themselves. James Crumm

Excellent CrossFit box/gym located right in Ellicott City, right near where Route 40 & Plum Tree Drive meet. The coaches are exceptional, as they constantly put safety & proper technique to the top of their list. They also work with all ranges of individuals to ensure you get a challenging workout that you will benefit from to work towards your goals, whether it is to lose weight, gain strength, expand flexibility or all of them. My daughter loves their kids classes and is always ready to go on Sat mornings. If you want a structured work-out that varies daily, then check out CrossFit PCR.

CrossFit PCR is a great place to go if you are a bit intimidated about trying something like cross fit. Jamie and Bronson and all of the coaches are very supportive and helpful, even if you are not very athletic or have never lifted weights. They help you to realize that even small improvements are worth recognizing. I have been pleasantly surprised about how much I have learned and improved in a short period of time. I never imagined myself trying cross fit and now I make sure I go three times a week. Going to CrossFit PCR is definitely worth the time and effort!
