Unpleasant , intimidating, and staff doesnt take complaints seriously. When I went to workout some guy asked me in the middle of my set if he could spot me. But I couldnt drop the weights to answer him so I ignored him. By the time I was done he had walked away and was laughing with his buddies. He said to a random woman standing there that I was using really heavy weight. WTF? Judgement free zone right? Remember that farce? Whatever happened to that? Another guy kept swearing with the F and S word between every set, and kept looking at me in the process. I complained to the front desk but the female colleage didnt take me seriously at all and said "We cant prevent every instance of that, but we do try to discourage it. " Stupid answer and not what I had asked. Fortunately there was a black colleague that did appear to take it more seriously. He came down with me and investigated, only then did I find out that the worker had absolutely no control over the guy, he kept swearing to the worker, and eventually the worker came back to me and made excuses for him, saying he is mentally ill and had medical problems etc. Really, so someone can break the rules if they have a mental problem? Why is he telling me this?

Ill start by saying Im not a huge fan of PF as a corporate entity, I think they rely on breakage and can be a little shady with billing practices. With that said, this particular location is great. Clean, well-kept and friendly. I recently had an issue with billing (which couldnt be resolved due to the aforementioned billing practices) but the manager at this location took the time to talk to me and explain what was going on. As I said he didnt have the power to solve my problem but he helped me navigate the situation with a little empathy and made sure I understood how to avoid future charges. Im going to stick with PF but mostly because this guy took the time to work with me.

Disappointed. Joined to get some extra activity since the winter was so cold. They did credit one month off for a death in my family which i did not ask for, but they had my billing all messed up until conveniently when the annual fee was to be charged. $40 dollars that they told me they could not charge to me due to the billing information being messed up. I was to pay it in person via cash. Seems fishy to me that I get told one thing and they do another. I am cancelling and not going back. The facility is nice, but small for the number of people that go there. I dont like anyone messing with my bank account. I would not recommend this club to anyone.

Ive been going to Planet fitness for over a year now, and the employees are nice. As long as you dont ask for anything. I am handicap, along with the person i bring with me. The handicap space has a crossed out line next(inbewteen) them and the planet fitness employees park in that spot, and so does their maintenance man. Which all of them are NOT handicap. I have repeatedly said something to them, and they get smart and act like they dont see anyone park there. I would NOT recommend anyone to join this gym. Gym equipment is often "not in servce" and half the treadmills dont work.

When my credit card was hijacked, I had to get a new card number. When I went into the gym to give them the new number, they informed me that I would have to give them my checking account number as they didnt do credit cards anymore. HELLO??? Its 2016, who in their right mind would give out their checking account number? VERY dangerous. Doesnt work for me. So I told them to cancel the membership and then they mailed me a bill for 59.00, meaning they get their annual renewal in there plus a few months worth of membership dues. BEWARE everyone.

Very crowded after work so parking is an issue. Thankfully, most of the traffic are cardio bunnies on ellipticals and treadmills so weights and machines are usually free. The overall hygiene of other gym rats is severely lacking, as well as a lot of sexual harassment. I got done with leg press and went to wipe down, but someone beat me to it and chose to workout on top of my sweat. Kinda gross and when I told the dude I didnt wipe yet he winked at me and said he doesnt mind. Very gross.

their billing system sucks.. They bill me twice almost every month, and today I was denied entry into the gym..Staff was very rude, and said i had a bill due of $20.00. I told him that my bill was paid twice this month already and I offered to show him on my phone or on his computer.He was very rude like he wanted to get physical, and told me to pay $20.00 or get the F out..

Customer service is absolutely disgusting. I called and asked for information and the person I talked to said "yah you can look it up" when I asked for corporates number because I was out of state and forgot to cancel my membership. Lazy, unprofessional, and rude. Glad I am going to Golds when I come back and bringing my employees with me.

When I travel to Harrisburg, I always get a morning workout here. The machines are well maintained and repairs are done promptly. Locker rooms are always tidy. Overall temperature is on the cooler side which is great when Im running on the treadmill! Staff is friendly too! Highly recommended if youre looking for the basics in a gym.

Usually always go in mornings... Bathroom, soap dispensers empty. Towels out on floor empty... But 2 to 3 people working just doing nothing or talking... Very unfriendly... Gone to alot Planet Fitness... Plus of people on floor judge you... drop weight, grunt??? I thought you had a different saying... Please look into......

Staff could be a little more friendly. Nice location but still needs to be larger for the volume they get. More dumbbells would be nice as would additional benches. Just a thought...

Clean facility. Helpful employees. Worst thing is that other patrons will cut in in the middle of a circut and ruin the flow.
