To make sure everyone is on the same page, as the previous reviewer, this is not a detail, it is a carwash for three prices $19, $15 and $11, none come with towel dry, and then you can add extras. For exterior that they towel dry is $10 so you are looking at between $21 to $25 which is fine but no interior. If you want a full interior (Vacuum, windows, etc.) and exterior (Towel dry, wheels, etc.) $24 or they give you the top carwash and interior and exterior for $40 plus a tip of course. Even at the lowest wash it would be $11 plus $24 or $35 plus tip. That is an absurd amount of money for a carwash. They seem very attentive but the price is really insane and I come from New York. The carwash on Rosemont does a good job for $20 and you get same service for a much cheaper price. If they dont do such a good job call them back and they will take care of anything. I would be a weekly customer here but the price is prohibitive. Four stars because of the price Reply: Thank you for your response but you dont work with my Giant rewards so I would lose about 30 - 50 cents per galloon if I filled up at your station. Still when looking at your offerings I cant get the same level of service for the $21 that I would get elsewhere. The basic carwash doesnt take care of the rims and the windows are not done in the interior. Unfortunately the price point is way to high for most average people. $40 for a complete was on a weekly basis doesnt make sense. I would hope that you can look to price a basic wash, rims, vacuum and windows to be more reasonably even if someone needed to buy a monthly pass and book to show their loyalty.

No matter what your past experiences have been, it is a good idea to check their work! I discovered this carwash a couple of years ago and was very impressed with the service and attention to detail. Because I felt the crew went well beyond what should be expected for $40, I always tipped generously depending on how bad the car was. Today I tipped $30 before I even got into the car, and that was a mistake. I called the supervisor back over because the steering wheel and some instruments were still covered with dust, and I guess I should have just gotten out and given the car a good look, but, honestly, the supervisor should have taken the initiative at that point. Anyway, I have already redone a few things and will be back out tomorrow to finish -- just so many areas that were done poorly or not done at all. I will even need to do some vacuuming. I dont know whether I will be back, probably not.

This is normally my "go to" gas station but on Friday November 25th a little after midnight I walked to the station and attempted to purchase a pack of cigarettes. The attendant refuse to sell me a pack of cigarettes because I didnt have my ID on me. Im 44 and look every bit of it. It was the first time in my life Ive ever been carded. I totally understand and support the idea of making sure youre not selling tobacco products to the underaged but Im 44 and I got the feeling the kid was just jerking me around. I dont make a habit of giving low reviews because of one bad experience, I just hope this review gets noticed by management and they correct the problem, unless of course there is some new law that says you card everyone for tobacco.

The staff were friendly but they did a poor job. With the price so high I expected them to do a great job. They vacuum my car and their were still some dirt in some places. Under my seats werent clean well. I took some pictures just in case go back. I live in Hagerstown and was in Frederick and decided to get my car wash and vacuum since the weather was nice. They need to do a better job and make sure next they clean someone car they go back and take a quick look to make sure they did a good job. I was kind of disappointed being that it was my first time getting a car wash from them.

While Ive been using this service for some time now, this is my first review. On my last visit on 2/12, I must say I was very impressed with the level of detail in cleaning my car! I have one of the plans with add on services as needed. Generally I just wash and go; but every once in a while I get everything done. This was one of those times. The guys that cleaned my car did such an excellent job! I could not find anything worth noting that was not cleaned right. Excellent job and th reason why I keep returning!!

After I left my office today and got to the parking lot, I was astounded to see that birds had covered my car with - well - with what birds do when they are sitting in a tree overhanging a car. It was unreal - they had not missed an inch. People were actually staring at my car as I drove out of the parking lot! I immediately drove it to Frederick Shell Car Wash, and the people there did an excellent job getting every bit of my car clean. Thanks to everyone who worked on getting my car clean. -Torne Jacobson

I have been going there for 4 years now and I can honestly say it is one of, if not the nest carwash in Maryland. I even go from Pa down there to get my car done. I always get a detail at another professional, but they can keep the shine on way after. Frankly, I have never seen a more soapy wash anywhere. The guys and gals are detail oriented and are fast, but very professional. "KUDOS" to you guys for a job well done. You keep my Lexus looking great!!!!!!

Melissa, Rob, and Chris (as well as the rest of the team) always go above and beyond to make sure even my picky eye is pleased. I joined the club for a monthly fee best investment I have made. I have been going to the shell for a year now. The few times spots have been missed that I noticed later the customer services has always been amazing to make sure it didnt happen again. For express they always go above and beyond to make sure my car is spotless!

One of the best deals on detailing to be had. You can get a FULL detail - machine wash and wax, but hand-dry and vacuum with everything included (even tires) for only $40! These folks work hard, so dont forget to leave them a nice (cash!) tip. I took my car here just before trading it in, and Im sure I got top dollar mainly because it looked so good! Now, I bring my new car here every six weeks or so just to keep it looking great.

I dont really leave feedbacks but after this experience I was compelled. Their premium wash isnt really a premium wash service. Spending $42 (for premium) was a wastage of money. Should have gone for cheaper regular exterior wash and interior vacuum. I asked if they do remove the stains from mats and they said our premium wash covers everything but in vain. Car still stinks and still has stains. Never going back to them !!!
