Well, let me first start off by saying I usually spend all day washing, waxing and detailing my car (inside and out) by myself. But, considering my laziness today and the fact that I had a coupon for the Auto Spa, I figured I would give it a shot. I have many friends who take their cars here and they are usually happy. Me, I am very picky and when I say I want my car clean and detailed, I want that sucker ON POINT! So, anyways, I payed for the Ultimate Works Wash which includes the wash, protectant sealer, drying, dash wipe down, vacuuming, interior scent, tire shine..and I paid extra for them to clean my center console. Well....my car still had soap on it when it came out of the washing area. I pointed it out to somebody who didnt speak a lick of english, so I pointed it out to another gentleman who sort of brushed me off as if I was interupting his work. Umm..you are cleaning MY car..and if I AM paying you, I want it done right!! So needless to say the soap didnt get rinsed off. So, instead of raising hell, I went inside and paid..kept my mouth shut, and waited for my car to be finished. When it was finished, I got in and noticed that there was still white dog hair all over my front passenger seat. If my vacuum at home can suck up all the dog hair, I would certainly expect your commercial vacuum to be able to suck up all of the dog hair. My car had no interior scent, and there was still water all over the exterior of my car. At this point, irritated was an understatement. So, I pulled my car out of their parking lot and I parked right in front of the Spa on the street, got my car cleaning towels out and finished what they were paid to do. All of the gentlemen who were working outside were watching me. Like I said before, I didnt complain because I figured they wouldnt do anything. That just seems to be the way things work now. I could have gotten my car much cleaner had I ran it thru the automatic car wash down next to the Exxon gas station on 40. After a few hours of being home, I had to run an errand and the tire shine was no longer shinning on my tires. They look dry and dull. I will NEVER return here, and if I were you, I wouldnt waste my time or money. They advertise that theyre really good, but they really freakin suck!!

My wife and I moved to Frederick recently and this was our first - and last - visit to Fredericktowne Auto Spa. (Note: date of service was 12/21/16.) Weve lived in several states and some very, *very* expensive areas (Honolulu, for one) but never have we paid so much for so little at a car wash service. I ordered the "Platinum Spa Package", their top of the line service, which was $40. I was a little surprised by the price as the included service items were the same as those we paid $28 or $29 for in the last city we lived in - which, again, was *much* more expensive of an area to live in than Frederick is. It was cold and a little windy so I just did a cursory look-over at the car before I left. Then, when I got home and parked, I was in for a shock. I found the following problems: 1. Dust, hair and some other random items on the leather seats despite paying to have them cleaned. 2. Floor mats were surprisingly dirty still - and I have Weatherguard mats , which are insanely easy to clean thoroughly. 3. Large missed spots on the exterior of the car - this despite having OptiCoat Pro, a very expensive (over $600 per vehicle), imported paint coating applied by a high-end detailer just 6 weeks ago, which allows most dirt and grime to be rinsed away and the rest gently washed. Plus, the car is only 6 months old so its not like theres anything resembling a finish problem. 4. Water spots from bumper to bumper and top to bottom. As I mentioned above, we are used to paying $28 or $29 for the same services as are included in this "Platinum Spa Package", and an INFINITELY better job done with exponentially more attention to not only the details but to the general wash itself. The only good thing is that we decided to try Fredericktowne Auto Spa with one of our two vehicles first before bringing the second one in. Needless to say, we wont be back and I certainly wont be able to "recommend" them to anyone we know here. Very, very disappointed. Its not so much that the service was "horrible", its just that it was absolutely mediocre absolute at best...while also being the highest-priced by far anywhere weve ever lived, coast to coast, for a similar auto wash package.

I went early in the morning on a weekday to avoid the weekend rush to get my car ready for our vacation. Thinking I was doing the right thing by asking the first attendant which package I should get and following that recommendation. They werent busy - in fact I was the only car there. I paid for a "silver package" which was $30.00. This large Enclave was almost done before I finished paying for the service. I now know why! Was told it included a wash and hand dry, interior vacuuming, windows, "and the inside but not the seats". By the time I got home and was able to inspect the car, I realized that the car was still dirty on the outside, the rear-view mirror still had something stuck to the glass, the middle front window was still dirty and smeared on the inside, and the doors had not been wiped down. When I opened the rear hatch on my SUV I realized they hadnt vacuumed the dirt off the rubber mat or carpet and the inside of the silver trim was still dirty where they had only wiped when the hatch was closed. This is the second time Ive had a sloppy careless service at this business. In fairness I called and asked for a refund or credit so that I could come back at MY convenience but both the desk staff and manager Ryan told me "they dont do that" and recommended I call when I want to come back and speak to the manager. REALLY? No thank you. I used to frequent this car wash alot in the beginning but they just dont care to do a good job anymore. I basically paid $30.00 for less than 10 minutes of service - a car wash, sloppy window cleaning and vacuuming and a vanilla air freshener. Folks, I wont be going back. Found a great car wash down the street at Joe Parselys Shell station. For a few more dollars we could eat dinner off the interior or exterior - and the customer service was tops.

This place is a joke, went through an exterior only wash and when I came out the other side and was "wiped down" I got out and looked at the car and there was still bird poop on the side and hood of the car and the rear end of the car looked like it was barely touch. I went back around and this time selected their platinum package, went through the tunnel, came out of the car got all the trash picked up and thrown away for the guys can vacuum the car. I sat at the waiting area for over 30 mins until I was told that the car was ready, when I approached the car I could still see the bird poop on the side and hood, I asked the employee to give the bird poop more attention and he did (mind you this is the second time through the tunnel and a wipe down within an hr.) Also the entire front end of the car was still covered with bugs I asked the employee to look at that too and couldnt understand what I was saying (my Spanish is very limited) the interior was somewhat clean, vacuuming was descent, the windows where ok but the dashboard and center console was very spotty. Im not sure what package I needed to get the best clean possible but I can honestly say this was the worst experience Ive had at a car wash and it wasnt cheap. Im not coming back...BTW, I drove a brand new black suburban so everything is visible on it...
