I hired The Cleaning Authority for a move in clean when we bought our first house in late April. There were a few things I pointed out to the gentleman that came and did the walk through that really needed a good scrub. He informed me about their green status and said they may not be able to get everything because they dont use chemicals. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that they would be able to get everything done because the house was not in terrible shape. They did a great job on the kitchen and the wood floors looked nice but not what I had expected. The previous owners in the house obviously cooked with a lot of grease and oil so the cabinets above the stove are just completely sticky and the oven wasnt to clean. I specifically asked for these two things to be done an the oven looked touched but not the cleanest. The cabinet doors and range fan didnt seem to be touched at all. I received a call during the clean to let me know they were almost done and again asked about those and the paper stuck to the wood floor. The answer I got was again they dont use chemicals so it might be hard to get that paper up. I asked him to have the crew try one more time and they were successful. I was told when I asked about the kitchen items again that they were taken care of. I believe they did a pretty good job on the rest of the house but it is disappointing that I would specifically ask for certain things to be done and they either could not do them or choose not to. I am currently looking at quotes from other maid services because we would like someone here about every month if possible. I just dont know if I can bring myself to have the Cleaning Authority back.

If you want any kind of flexibility with scheduling, great customer service and an attention to detail, I DO NOT recommend using these guys. We have been using the Cleaning Authority to clean our home for a while now and we love the team who cleans our home. The problem is that the folks who run and schedule for the Cleaning Authority provide no level of flexibility at all. We made a request back in September to have our clean for the holiday scheduled right before family were arriving and were told that we would be one of the first on the list. After each cleaning my wife reached out to find out if the clean was confirmed. There was no response from anyone at TCA; over and over again...nothing. Finally a few days before our family was arriving we were told that there was no availability and that they could not accommodate. This has been their standard operating procedure since day one. Outside of the team who we love, the rest of their teams do not pay attention to details, and in most cases just comb over the house, requiring re-clean requests and good luck with that. I do not recommend using this company to clean your home if you want to have any kind of flexibility on your days of service or have a high quality of service. Their customer service is horrible and we will be looking for another local alternative.

We have been using cleaning authority for a year now after a direct hire who cleaned for us quit. We LOVE the system. First they do a deep clean. Since we had someone cleaning for us before we didnt think we needed it but went with it. We found the clean so much better! They got cobwebs out of a recessed light in my kitchen. The ceilings were tall and I nor the person who previously cleaned got them. Then after the first deep clean they divide the house into 3 sections. Each time they clean they deep clean that area. When a coaster was broken or any other issue they left a note. Any issue we have had they have jumped at fixing. If you have animals be sure to let them know. They did close all the doors to each room after cleaning which locked a cat in a few times. As soon as we asked them not to they stopped immediately. I recommend giving them a try. FYI they came in less expensive than the individual who cleaned for us and they clean more rooms. Def give CA a try. Go Green.

Good afternoon, Brian, I wanted to take a quick minute to say how pleased I am with Team 11’s (Amber and Jessica) efforts in cleaning my apartment. Always courteous, prompt, and professional, Amber and Jessica do an extremely remarkable job each and every visit. From their first cleaning to their most recent one yesterday I have always been impressed at the superior level of detail they consider. It’s clearly evident that they take immense pride in the quality of their work and when they leave I’m always filled with a feeling that they cleaned and cared for my apartment as if it was their own. In today’s service industry it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to find employees that have the exceptional work ethic that Amber and Jessica consistently exhibit and I’m incredibly thankful that they are routinely assigned to clean my apartment. This was a dissapointment to say the least. My wife and I hired them to clean our home before we put it on the market. We were told that the inital cleaning would be focused on the kitchen and bathrooms. Neither area had any evidence that they had been cleaned to the degree that was described to me. It barely looked touched. I had to actualy do the cleaning myself in order to prepare our home for an open house. When I contacted "The Cleaning Authority" to let them know how terrible of a job they did, I was told "Thank You" and they would cancel my next cleaning. It took a few days to hear back form them to inquire about the issue. I have used several cleaning services throughout my life and they are the absolute worst. I cant beleive that the positive reveiws that I read were in anyway accurate. There are alot of these companies out there. You should choose a different one.

Very happy with this cleaning service. They are dependable, fast, thorough and extremely professional (everyone from the office staff to the cleaning teams). One of the main things that has impressed me is that the cleaning teams are pleasant without being over-talkative. Even when my house is the fourth one they have cleaned that day and it is late in the afternoon, they remain professional and friendly. In my opinion, the key to their success is that they have different teams show up at your house on different weeks, and over time, you can ask to work solely with a team that you think is the best match for your needs. I found the team that works perfectly for my house, and I do not have one single complaint! Many thanks.

The owner Brian is very responsive to scheduling needs. The main person in the crew, Rachel is steady and good at what she does, which is very important to me. They are dependable on a week to week basis, no worrying about them not coming at all as will happen with a one person cleaner. Staff is respectful and responsive. The bathrooms are usually great and the kids rooms look so cute with their stuffed animals all arranged. The main two things for improvement overall would be the floors - both the tile and wooded floors. The other thing would be to have a good steady partner for Rachel - dont always make her the trainer. It is a hard job and I appreciate knowing that they are reliable! Thanks!
