I was very disappointed with the service after so many good reviews. BLUF: Look for another cleaning service for a move-in clean. I had scheduled a move-in clean with The Maids while my house was vacant and I was prepping to move our furniture in. I asked specifically for them to concentrate on cabinets, window sills, walls, and baseboards and was quoted $170-250. After The Maids came, I saw that they were using cloths to wipe kitchen floor tiles and vacuuming (as opposed to scrubbing) walls. They did not clean under the refrigerator or wasker/dryer, nor did they wipe the doors or window sills. After two hours of vacuuming and wiping, they asked for another hour to finish. I accepted, but shouldnt have because I needed to go over everything again anyway. All of the baseboard corners had easily wipable grime in them. I spent $360 and needed to deep clean everything again. I had to scrub the floor tiles with a brush to clean the grout which thier cloths were insufficient for and the cabinets needed Murphys Oil Soap on them. Whatever cleaner they used did not remove grease. When I looked at the invoice after they left, the cleaning type was listed as a standard clean and not a move-in clean. I definitely do not recommend them for a move-in cleaning service.

I have used this cleaning service for almost a year. Im able to go shopping and return home to a clean house. It’s like checking into hotel with everything fresh and clean. I lay out towels, sheets, and anything else that will make my home comfortable. I’m at an age that cleaning my home can be very overwhelming and difficult. With dusting in high places and bending in low place seems to be more of a chore nowadays. It all gets done at a very reasonable rate. You can always pick up around the house but, when it comes cleaning carpets, polishing floors, or cleaning the bath tub I call the expert’s. I have The Maids, come and clean the entire house giving me more time for me. I’m able to have my house clean when guest arrive. It works out very well for me, they are courteous, commendable, as well as a pleasure to work with. p.s. They even help organize my laundry room making less painful to do the laundry. These guys are good as long as you watch over them and make sure that they actually do the job. If you dont then the cleaning is very poor and could be dangerous. I left their team to clean my home without my presence. I discovered that they never touched two of the bathrooms and the floors looked horrible as well. The rest of the home looked to have been straigtened but certainly not cleaned. I thought that this incident was a "one time" failure and thought that they deserved a second chance. I let them back and once again when I had to leave. The cleaning was only ok and they left the gas running on the stove. I walked into a house that was filled with gas to the point where I couldnt breath. My two dogs were crated in the home and if i didnt return as quickly as I did then the consequences would have been dire. The Maids are not trustworthy at all and would look other places.

During a very stressful time for our family, I contacted The Maids of Frederick for a cleaning on very short notice. From the first contact, I was made to feel like a valuable customer, and the person who spoke to me was very competent, thorough, and understanding. My further contacts with the company were all the same - immediately understanding my needs, and gave me the feeling that what I asked for would be provided as discussed. When the team came, promptly, they immediately went to work and did everything Id asked of them, and more. They worked harder than any cleaning service Ive had anywhere, and were so kind to us! Hi, The Maids of Frederick are wonderful! They are always on time. My home looks wonderful after their work. They are honest and Team #1 is superior! - hard workers and really good. I have requested additional services whether extra rooms or specific instructions about furniture. I use the carpet cleaning option as well. My home is largish and they work with me to tailor the cleaning to my budget. The Maids of Frederick has accommodated my requests for routine service as well as for ad-hoc service. They work with my schedule which is a bit of a nightmare with work and travel. I love them! Thanks "The Maids of Frederick". You are welcome in my home any time. Regards.

Ive been with The Maids Cleaning Service since 2015. The Maids have changed my life! Having this service in my home on a bi-weekly basis has made my life easier. Theyre very prompt, efficient and very detailed orientated! When I have certain areas that need extra TLC they take the time to listen and accommodate me. When calling into the office, I receive impeccable customer care service. Niya, Nick and Isaac have been patient and professional whenever I need to reschedule a clean. Once again, I will never use another cleaning service other than The Maids. Im extremely pleased with them and have recommended this service to family and friend.

I couldn’t be happier with “The Maids.” The four who came to my house were efficient, thorough, and worked well together. I am amazed at the large and small cleaning they did. My kitchen and bathrooms sparkle. The rugs are hair free, though my dog and I had done a job on them. My stair railings and Venetian blinds have never been so dust free. They were careful with my fragile things, so nothing was harmed in any way. Each of the four was courteous to me, and each smiled making me feel they enjoyed and took pride in their work. If you want your house cleaned carefully and thoroughly, I recommend “The Maids.” Sue

Wow! So impressed! I was referred to The Maids by a co-worker who couldnt say enough good things about their ability to make her house sparkle. We gave The Maids quite the task with our house and they did not disappoint. I dont think my house has ever been this clean. The Frederick team #1 moved quickly and was extremely thorough. I havent been able to find a spot that was missed :) As a busy, working Mom it is not always easy to find the time to really clean the way I would like. The Maids saved me a weekend (if not more) of cleaning and missing out on family time. Will be signing up for a regular monthly cleaning!

Ive used The Maids in my home on a biweekly basis for about a year now. Every time my scheduled day rolls around Im absolutely thrilled with the results. They clean places I never think to clean and leave my home sparkling every time. Once, I called in a panic the day before a party to see if they could come do a last minute clean. They cleared some room in their schedule and came out the next day and did a killer job on my house, as usual. I cant say enough for this business - flexible, trustworthy and professional every time.
