Ive been going to this place ever since the new owner, George, took over a few years back while I was finishing up high school. George has been my barber ever since I can remember (I think since I was 9 or 10, im now 20), I used to go to him when he was at Diva Salon in Potomac, then to 7 Locks Barber Shop and now at his own place right by QO High School. He has never done anything short of amazing, especially with my hair. I have really thick hair that tends to look odd the second it get a little too long, but George and his magic hands and precision cuts give me the perfect fade everytime. I cannot tell you how many times I have gone and got haircuts near my university and none of them even come close to the quality and most importantly VALUE that a haircut here gives you. If you need a good old fashioned cut with clippers but need a little more indidvidual attention to your own unique type of hair, head shape, hair line etcc this is the place. Make sure to ask for George when you head over, if hes not there, no biggie, the other guys are great too (I go with Gs little brother if hes out). I just wish they were a little closer to my house, no complaints though, its worth the drive :)

Tried about five other shops since moving to the area in the past year (kentlands, travilah). Its a simple cut, but Im not easily satisfied. Have now settled on this great crew. Very affable, ask what you want, and try to make you happy. Classic barber shop, no frills. Mostly male barbers, English speaking.. Plus they turn your chair so you can look at the TV.

I have been using these guys for about 4 years now they are the best barbers i have ever had they do all cuts and hot shaves, and yes every haircut gets a clean razor neck shave. Very detailed work they do and its worth the drive you get down town service!!! i would not change them for nothing they are the BEST!!!!!!!! Thank you guys

I started going to Potomac Valley Barber for over 20 years. There are no better barbers in Montgomery County than the Barlas Brothers. Their prices are below market, their service is incredible and they treat everyone like family. Highly, Highly, Highly recommend!!!

Yes, map is not correct, This one is actually in between UPS and Wendys. I had been there a few times until they gave me deep scratch on my skin and I didnt feel their sorry. They taught me a lesson, I should find a good barber instead of a easy one.

This is not Potomac Valley Barber Shop anymore. It is not Amys Beauty Salon. Was very disappointed when I traveled here expecting a traditional barber shop.
