Staying in Germantown for a short period and needed dry cleaning on two occasions- without knowing anything about local dry cleaners I initially chose Crest because of the reviews. The Good: My first trip was a success - I dropped the items off before they closed and got a text message that they were ready early the next afternoon. I was happy with the results, and these were military uniforms which had me concerned about the level of care, they did a good job. The Bad: The next day however I realized I needed a dress shirt cleaned for a wedding rehearsal dinner that night- I really needed it by 1PM based on travel. I brought the shirt in around 8AM and explained the situation to the clerk- it was a quiet morning, there were no other customers, and this clerk appeared to be doing nothing before I walked in. I understand that they guarantee items will be done by 5PM and this was outside the norm- all I was looking for was some sort of an effort to accommodate- or even an honest assessment about how long it would take without any sort of priority given. If he told me I was the 10th guy walking in with a rush job and they just physically couldnt do it then fair enough, I would have stuck with a 4/5 star rating. Long story short, it was immediately clear that this clerk, and thus Crest, would do absolutely nothing- not even checking to see what the current load was- to help me in any way. I fleshed this out with some simple questions giving the guy a chance to realize how useless he was being- just some blank looks in return. Given my lack of time I didnt even bother with the manager and walked out to try another place. I would say the "So what?" to this is the following: Crest clearly has the equipment and processes in place to effectively do your dry cleaning and the text message notice is helpful- most of the time you will have excellent results. However, they also have lazy morons working there and that will almost definitely find a way to cause a failure, probably at the worst time. Theyll do it right 9 times out of 10, but on your 10th trip if the clerks shift ends and he throws your clothes in the wrong bin in a rush towards the door, thats where it will happen. After leaving, I called Romance Cleaners who were the second choice when I was initially searching for a dry cleaner- complete opposite experience and they are exactly the type of business I would support. The woman on the phone heard my situation and quickly said yes they could get it done. When I got there she was friendly and even though they were busy, they were happy to help and I had complete confidence that they would get it done- they didnt charge extra and she even refused a big tip that I would have gladly paid! ** UPDATE: The Regional Manager from Crest called me following this initial 2 star review. In talking to her it became apparent that the individual I dealt with was a temporary employee that was really in the wrong place at the wrong time- not indicative of Crest overall. The personal phone call from the manager who was extremely nice, professional, and candid definitely redeems the whole "we care about our customers" side of Crest.

No rework, no clean: to support location businesses, I rarely write bad reviews. However, this time I need to. My family has come to this location many years. Just two days ago, I came to this location twice (four trips: drop-offs/pick-ups). The first time, my two sport jackets were not cleaned, missing 4 stained spots. The second time, for re-work of the same two jackets, they marked the missing stained spots. When my wife came back to pick my two jackets, no rework, no clean for the stained spots. I am very disappointed for their services. I will never come back this location.

After trying several different dry cleaners between Montgomery Village and Germantown, Crest Cleaners at Milestone turned out to be absolutely the best! The staff are couteous, professional, and very helpful. I am greeted each time by my name, given top-notch service and have never ben disappointed. Any issue with my items is always solved in a way that makes me always want to come back. The manager and staff are the best and I will remain a loyal customer as long as they are working there. This cleaners is excellent. Same day service if dropped of by 11am...cant beat that! The prices are unbeatable for the exceptional service. Always friendly staff and service with a smile, not to mention they are eco-friendly. I drive from out of town to come to this dry cleaners because they surpass any others I have been to. Before my husband found this cleaners I was a serial dry cleaner, going wherever the wind blew me. Now Im happy to say weve found a dry cleaning home in Crest!

Just horrible already. I cant even count the number of times already Ive received someone elses clothes and mine are lost in the system. Just today, Ive got 2 shirts billed to me that arent even mine but theyre going to have the driver call me. What on earth does the driver have to do with it. Theyre incompetent already and its getting worse, not better.

Something has changed here- use to have great customer service and attention to detail, didnt mind paying their higher prices for dry cleaning. Now the customer service is poor they are just worried about the bottom line and getting off work in time. Dont dare show up a couple minutes past the deadline you wont beable to drop off. Dry cleaning is one of those tasks that I just dont like to do. The home pick up and delivery is absolutely flawless. My husbands shirts are always wonderfully done and when I throw the occasional item of mine, Ive always been impressed with the outcome and the pricing. Thank you Crest for making our lives easier and cleaner.

I am a new customer and I am pleased with their work. Not only were my clothes cleaned well, but the staff were professional. They also cleaned my clothing in timely manner. And I appreciated the text and email alerting me that my clothes were ready for pick up. I will definitely return again and do it regularly.

I have been a Crest customer for any years and have had only one minor negative experience with damage to a shirt. They promptly compensated me. Otherwise their service has been consistently excellent. The pick-up/delivery service is great!

This is not a good cleaners..clothes come out still wrinkled...I shouldnt have to iron my clothes over! N its expensive... For the cost my clothes should be ironed...not going back!!
