I am not much of a complainer. I am just a regular guy. If an establishment provides me good service, Ill keep coming back to their place of business. If an establishment does not provide me good service (or disappoints me in any way), Ill cease to return to their place business. My experience has been that businesses usually try to explain their way out of what you are complaining about. That peeves me to know end. There are several that come to mind at this moment, but I wont name them. No need to complain about them. Like, I said. I just find another establishment to frequent. I had stop going to Balfurd for a "minute" because the collar on two of my shirts when I gave it to them to clean was almost just as dirty as when I drop it off for cleaning. Rather than complain about it, I just went home and did not return. I just got a new job, I decided to return to Balfurd recently to have 4 shirts cleaned for my new job. I was in a rush. When I placed my shirts on the counter to submit them for dry cleaning, I noticed that the attendant noticed my shirt collar(s) were dirty - I sweat a lot - and placed a red stick on the collar. It was at that time that I asked her to place a red stick on each of my shirts because I was concerned that the collars on my other shirts might still be a little dirty at pick-up. She was nice and placed a red sticker on each of my shirts. At the time of pick-up, I was pleased to see that my collars were very clean, and my shirts were ready the next day (two days before the date that she said they would be ready). The service was good and I was pleased. I think I will be returning to Balfurd Cleaners for my dry cleaning needs.

Used the Atherton site. Received excellent service despite dropping off a fairly absurd amount of conventional formal menswear, with the attendant identifying a shirt with a small hole that they could not clean without causing further damage. Id seen major complaints about this dry cleaner on other sites that kept me away for a long time, and Im now wondering if those reviews were compensated or fake- they dont match up to my experience at all, and I notice that all or most of them are anonymous. Be aware that, at least on dress shirts, Balfurd attaches a small tracking barcode to one corner of the hem on dress shirts- this is unobtrusive and has caused me no problems.

Balfurds is the best cleaning service I have ever used bar none! They have always been so accommodating with my requests for hand ironing and creasing my husbands dress shirts to meet his works dress code. (Thanks, Olga - you are the best!!!) I really love their UGG boot cleaning service. My salt-stained winter boots came out like new! The staff treats our familys clothing with great care and treats our business like it matters to them. It is great to live in a place where there is top quality cleaning for our clothing. Year in and year out, Balfurds strives for great quality service, and my family and I appreciate it.

I will definitely give no start to this horrible service if I can. This is the only cleaners I have been to that couldnt be able to give me an cost estimate. I asked the staff there when I sent im my coat how much it would take, she said not sure. I insisted on an estimate, she said 14, which is not unacceptable. However, when it was ready, they charged me more than 40!!! That estimate is not even close. Theres nothing more I can do than just eat the bill. thank god I only need to send it to cleaners twice a year. They are not clearly pricing their service and I feel I was robbed obviously.

Great service and fair and affordable pricing! I am very pleased with both the customer service and handling and care of the items I needed cleaning. They were able to restore my old winter jacket to how it looked when I first bought it!! It had stains from coffee and dirt and other normal use dirt marks caked on over a year of wearing through the elements. Went in dirty, came out spick n span clean! I would gladly and without any reservations recommend this service to anyone needing dry cleaning services!

I had my wedding dress steamed here. I asked about getting a stain out, but it was before the wedding so they didnt want to try anything that might ruin it. I was disappointed, but it made sense. I put the dress in for cleaning and preservation after my wedding day. The cleaning was amazing - got almost everything out! They let me see the dress before preservation, which I really appreciated. Ive also had my dry cleaning done here a few times. No complaints - fast and effective.

(ZERO STARS) The downtown location ruined all of the items my husband dropped off. We asked for them to be dry cleaned but they were laundered and everything shrunk. When my husband went in to discuss the matter with them, Samantha Lee at the downtown location told him that the items most likely didnt fit anymore because he had gained weight. I have no idea how they could think this was acceptable. Horrible service, horrible employees.

I have never had a bad experience or problem balfurds. I always go to the one on North Atherton. The ladies there are great!! Always very friendly and very nice. Helpful and kind. If I have a problem the manager is great she is the best. I could go to other dry cleaners and save s few dollars, but its not worth it. Balfurds on north atherton and the ladies there make it my only dry cleaners!! Thank you

My first experience with Balfurd was GREAT service and friendly driver. I had 2 mens suits cleaned. When my husband wore one of the suits he found a patch of white stuff stuck to it. He had to scrape it off and then get a clothing brush out to get the residue off the fabric. Kind of disappointing after paying $25 for dry cleaning. Im going to give them another try. Maybe it was a fluke.

I dropped off a winter formal coat at the North Atherton Branch, received my pickup ticket, and expected to come back in a couple days. I asked if I could sign up for their delivery service because I knew that they came to our Kish Bank branch already. I was pleasantly surprised when the clean coat was delivered and I didnt have to travel on North Atherton at 5 oclock!!!

Balfurds has been my go to cleaners for over 15 years. They appreciate the need to have items looking impeccable for work or play. The thing that impresses me most is the fact that they repair/fix any damaged items no questions asked. Most of the time if a button is missing from a shirt it is fixed without me having to ask. I will be a customer forever!

On my most recent trip to Balfurds, I was so excited that they got black ink out of my bright yellow jacket! Lisa, the seamstress did a fabulous job on a skirt that I had to lengthen; there were issues with the manufacturers hemline finishing and she she created a new back slit! The customer service reps are always very friendly! Thank you!
