They messed up the collar of my new dress shirt. If this wasnt irritating enough, when I brought it to their attention the next time that I took the shirt back, they began lecturing me on "how the have these amazing machines that can send people to mars etc etc..." or in other words the collar didnt get messed up at their facility - so left me thinking was I lying? That was of course the third strike out. First was when they ripped a shirt and sent it away with me anyway. Second was when, I told them to look a set of three shirts for any damages before they took them in. Despite telling me "no damages" I was annoyed to find little tags when I brought them home saying "damaged when received" ... So, Im sure I can find another dry-cleaner

This is a good example of "You get what you pay for." Good prices on Cleaning, but they lack on simple services. 1) They arent a full service cleaners (i.e. dont clean socks, undershirts, etc.). 2) Their "pledge" of "In by 9 Out by 5" is not a guarantee, so dont expect to show up at 5:30 with all your clothes cleaned as Ive experienced (Its best to call to check on your order, if you can get through, and if you get a helpful person.) 3) And, I rarely meet people quite so unfriendly as at this place. Again, good price, but I expect that with such a thorough system in place they should be able to meet their advertised "pledges"; combined with less than friendly service is why I give this "Poor-Fair"

Absolutely horrendous customer service today. I dropped of mens suits, shirts, etc a few days ago & paid to have a loose button tightened on the pants. The attendant marked the button with a safety pin when I dropped off & I paid for it. When I picked up, the button was not fixed. Im glad I checked & pointed it out to the counter girl - I believe she was the owner. She tried to charge me but the ticket clearly reflected my request & that I already paid. I asked them to fix it & she refused. I will never use Zipps again. There are many dry cleaners closer to me who care about their customers. By the way, they let a long time customer walk away over $1. Have a nice day

Very fast - in by 9 out after 5 dry cleaners. Theyll box your stuff up for a little extra, but reasonable cost for dry cleaning and laundry. Theres usually a small line with one-two people working to bag up your clothes or deliver them. Everything is electronic, and theres never any air conditioning on in the building (theyre always running fans). They have CNN on while you wait in line. Parking in the front parking lot can be a challenge at busy times - especially just after 5 when everyone is leaving the offices nearby.

Zips "in by 9, out by 5" is NOT a pledge nor a promise, because there are no consequences for missing the deadline. Had the manager tell me today that they instruct their cashiers to tell people "AFTER 5". What does after 5 mean? 6pm, 7pm, 8pm? Asked for a credit for the deadline missed and she refused. After having more starched shirt sleeves rip on me than any other dry cleaner before, this is my last straw. Time to pay a little more but actually get better quality of service.
