3/22/2016: I scheduled and booked my appointment Tuesday night for 8am Wednesday 3/22/2016 morning, right at opening time in the hopes of getting there as early as possible and leaving early. I was not a walk in, I had an appointment. When I arrived there was no line, first car parked in the lot. Went in gave them my keys and simply wanted a tire rotation. They said it would be done in 1 hr. Great, I can wait 1 hr, no problem. They finally call me almost two hrs later 9:45am recommending that I replace all 4 tires and that they have a deal of buy 3 tires get the 4th one free. Okay sounds like a great deal Ill go ahead and get it. At this point its just removing the old tires and putting the new tires on, they never rotated the old tires. The time is 9:45am. I dont get a call back until 3 hrs later when they finally finished putting the new tires on. So if you are going there to get new tires, expect to wait almost 6 hrs with an appointment. I got there at 8am and didnt leave the store until 1:30pm. Complete disrespect of my time. Also, to top it off.. the young lady who rang me up to complete my order forgot to enter in the buy 3 get 1 free promo, and forgot to include the road hazard warranty that comes with new tires, that also held me up and the manager had to step in and issue the refund and add the warranty, I did not give her a hard time because I figured maybe it was her first day. If you are thinking about using this Pep Boys and waiting there for your car to be serviced, expect delays. Never trust the timeframe they give you. If they say it should be done in 1hr, expect 3 hrs. My recommendation is if you absolutely have to use this Pep Boys just drop off your car and have someone pick you up and go on about your day. No point in waiting there because your whole day will be wasted, especially if you book your appointment anytime in the afternoon. ******************** Update 4/7/2016: Since I purchased the new tires about 3 weeks ago I recently hit a nail and had to take it in for removal (since new tires comes with road hazard warranty - I had to take it here) Booked my appointment the night before for 8am Thursday 4/7/2016. Came in at 8am, talked to George and he took care of the issue right away. He recognized my car from before since I was there not too long ago. The nail was too close to the other rim of the new tire so they replaced it free of charge because it was covered under warranty. Took off the old tire, put the new tire and mounted it on the rim and replaced the tire in about 30mins. Got there at 8am and left by 8:30am Have to give credit where credit is due, much improved, I came on time and they were able to get me in, did a great job with the tire and got me out quickly in 30mins. George was very helpful and eager to assist me and getting me out the door quickly. I hope this day wasnt a fluke and really hope they can keep up the good work and pace for their current and future customers. If I pay another visit there in the future I will be sure to write another update on the experience.

Took two cars there on the same day to get one a tire repaired and oil change, and the other car needed a tire rotation and alignment. Both that should have nothing to do with the cars since both were in good condition and only needed the tires serviced. After we received the cars back (one being an Audi A4 and the other a Cadillac Sts that we recently got a few months ago in prime condition.) The Sts began shaking and slowly accelerating, on top of that Pep Boys forgot to replace a bolt that held the interior wall of the right tire wall and the wall came loose and started flailing out of the car while i was driving and i had to pull over and duct tape it in place for the mean time, was just frightening to say the least so we stopped using the car until we could get it to a shop, Then i took the A4 for a drive, soon after i was leaving a parking lot the same problem happened, the A4 started jerking a bit and shaking, It felt like it was about to give away and die on me. I was lucky i could even get home. I took the sts back to the shop to ask for them to check the engine and replace the bolt, they replaced the bolt but told me they couldnt do anything with the engine since they couldnt work with it (i thought they were supposed to know how to work on cars, It ended up being a camshaft timing malfunction) Then my dad took the audi in and they told him the same thing that they wouldnt work on it. The odd thing is that both cars have similar problems once we took it there when they were in perfect condition, They should have only worked on the tires not anything in the gearbox or engine. Knowing that some shops will intentionally do something to the car so you will return with a new problem to be fixed i feel as if they had done just that. They charged me about 80 dollars to replace a bolt that they forgot and to tell me that they wont work on my cars whatsoever. Its a horrible business model and this repair shop should be avoided at all cost. I gladly will buy parts there and the like but to trust those guys in the garage is to mark yourself an idiot and to waste money. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARS THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR IT TO BE DAMAGED.

Their appointment does not have any meaning and the estimated time is not accurate at all! I made an appointment at 10 am today for oil change. The online information shows that it takes 30 mins. I arrived at about 9:45 am. When I am waiting in line, one customer was told that they cannot make the service due to many appointments. But then a manager (I guess) accepted, although he knew there are already many appointments. When I dropped the key and told them that I had an appointment. I was told that I need to wait longer, about one hour. I asked 11 am and got an answer yes. PS, it took about 15 mins in line and dropping the key. At 11 am, I came back and found my car in the same parking lot. I thought the job was done and wanted to pick up my car. But I was told that they have not worked on my car! They promised they will work soon and it will be ready in half hour. I waited about 5 mins but my car is still in the parking lot. Due to I had to leave soon and I am not sure how long I should wait, I decided to go without job done. It seems that the appointment does not have any meaning. By appointment, I suppose my car will be serviced soon after 10 am but it is not served after one hour. It also seems that they do not have an idea about when the job can be done. The estimation is one hour when I dropped the key but they do not have a chance working on my car in one hour. Given that they are heavily delayed, they should not accept any more services without appointment, but they decided to accept.
