Ive been working with Rodney and his crew for many years here in Hagerstown and my trust level is very high with those guys. Sept. 14 I took my car in for a free estimate to replace a power steering pressure hose. The charge for the hose was $118.31, Labor $336.00 a total of $454.31 Wow! then came the other charges from things they found wrong with the car, that total was $2110.00. Then came the credit application they offered for the Midas credit card at 29% APR. Gosh!, how gracious of them. So I did some checking around on the price of that hose. Autozone had it at $34.00, Napa, $38.00, and Advance $36.00. Odd you see while I was there I saw a Napa person in the Napa truck deliver a part to Midas. Could it be that if Id authorized the repair that I would have paid $118.31 for a part that if I bought from Napa straight out would have cost me $36.00. Trust level gone, professionalism non-existent, relationship destroyed/ Buyer beware these guys are crooks, steer clear and hold on to your wallet.

As the President of Air and Vac services, a local business servicing the metropolitan area. I would like to thank and also recommend the Hagerstown Midas family. I call them a family because you will feel at home and treated like family when you bring your vehicle in for any and all repairs. I have a fleet of vehicles putting thousands of miles a week and with the trusted techs at Midas I never have to worry about any mechanical issues. Today was just a wonderful experience for me at the Midas Location in Hagerstown Maryland. I am a young female and have little to no knowledge about cars or how to properly maintain them. Well I was taught a thing or two by the mechanic named rusty and his supervisor Mr. Rodney they together showed me the issues with my vehicle and had it all planned and priced out in the means of which I could afford. overall this was one trip worth taking to keep my vehicle going for many more years and it will be brought back to Midas at the appropriate regular intervals.

This is my first visit to Midas and I am very glad that I stopped here. The manager is just top notch awesome. The staff works well as a team, I like that they do an all points check on your vehicle and give an honest opinion of what is urgent and what can wait. The prices are reasonable. Bravo Midas

i came in because my breaks were squeaking. They put my car on the lift and took a look at it for free. They took in the shop to check out what was going on. I needed brake pads. My mechanic was nice and seemed to know more about my car than I did. I will be going here for now on.

Said my car would be done today. Never called me and now theyre closed, and tomorrow as well. Now Im without a car until Monday. If it was going to take longer they probably should of called.

Went in thinking my heater core was broken, after looking at it mechanic said it was probably just clogged up. He was right and it saved me hundreds!
