As this establishment services more of the rural community in our area the service I had expected was something along the lines of southern hospitality, instead, the owner and only certified mechanic was off the premises for the entire work day and his non certified staff were extremely rude and not even competent to call their boss to see when he would be back to perform a state inspection, a rather quick and basic service. if your car is in need of serious repairs or requires maintenance I would recommend a different shop these guys are dishonest and will treat you like an idiot, avoid this place at all costs.

It is so nice to have an honest auto repair and inspection station without having to go to Fredericksburg. Have not experienced any overcharging or telling you things you need when you really dont. We have older vehicles and they need a little TLC once in a while. Since my husband got sick and is unable to do a lot of the maintenance, I have had to rely on Post Oak and they treat me and my vehicles with respect. Ive even had my truck towed to Post Oak when we could have pushed it into a repair shop in Fredericksburg because I trust Tim.

Ive come here for 3 years straight for a state inspection and every year i come here hes an ass hole. He talks about how im only hear for a $16 inspection. Isnt every inspection place only $16? I honestly do not recommend this place.

If you want the service of a city shop then thats where you need to go, if you want honesty and having to wait around all day for your car all the while talking about fishing, then Post Oak Auto it is.
