Ive grown up always watching as my family took their automobiles to the Service Center. At first, under the previous ownership, we had never once had any issues. Those days are OVER. Heres my LATEST horror story... My Jeep had been leaking coolant for a few weeks. It was a pretty substantial leak, in which I had to refill the tank, weekly. After leaving it sitting for one week with a full tank, and cardboard beneath, there were no signs of any external leaks. At that time, we knew it had to be internal, within the head. I drive my Jeep, and leave it with the guys over at the Service Center. I thoroughly explained the situation with how it must be the head, and how I had even let it sit with the cardboard beneath. They treated me well, and insured me that the problem would be fixed. A few hours later, I recieve a phone call stating how it was, in fact, not my head gasket, yet it was my radiator which was spewing the coolant. That being said, I definitely said go ahead and replace it. Done. I pick the car up, and the very next day, after driving 10 miles, my oil pressure instantly dropped to 0, and all my warning gauges flashed, immediately. Luckily, I was still in range of the shop. So I drop it off, yet again. Let me make one thing clear, my Jeep had never once overheated, or lost oil pressure, whatsoever. I recieve a phone call, after, stating how my Oil Pump had gone bad, and it was the reason behind why my gauges dropped to zero. I told them to go ahead and remove the oil pan, and replace the pump being it was already disassembled and would be much easier to do it then. They say no problem, and get right to doing it. After they finish replacing the Oil Pump, I recieve a phone call stating that my engine is, in fact, BLOWN!! So, not only did I explain from Jump Street that the issue must be the head, and they swore to me otherwise, but $1,700 later, my vehicle is WORSE OFF THAN BEFORE! In fact, I am now left searching for another engine because mine is now trash. I am 23 years old, and these guys have milked me, and hung me out to dry. If you are looking for quality work, I suggest you look further. These are not mechanics, however, people with a wrench watching YouTube to hopefully fix your problem in which they wrongfully diagnosed.

Im a single female, and find it hard to feel comfortable with most repair shops. But Ive been using The Plains Service Center for a couple of years now with complete confidence. They have done superior work, and fit me in when their schedule was tight for emergencies. Customer service is outstanding, and they NEVER try to sell me something I dont need. Prices have always been reasonable. Im possibly a bit biased because I work nearby and can leave the car there during the day, but Id still drive a distance to use them just because of the customer service.

Me and my family have been having our vehicles serviced at the Plains Service station for years . Very honest work . Extremely honest owner . They have actually talked me out of work that wasnt needed on many occasions ( seriously ! ) , and have performed free follow up repair work . Between that , and the really good prices and work , is why I drive out to the plains from fairfax . Plus free gourmet coffee . Just get out there before it opens , customers line up before the door opens .

Everything about service at this location is professional. The price, the workmanship, and the timely manner in which your car is serviced will keep you coming back. Icing on the cake is the brilliance is the waiting area, which is comfortable, has free wi-fi, chargers for your devices and a stocked fridge, coffee and tea. You can get real work done as you wait in comfort and clean surroundings.
