I used Jiffy Plumbing & Heating to inspect my AC system last summer, and furnace just a couple weeks ago with a 1 year, 2 check-up deal. Solid service, doing the checks. However, Im a handy guy and have basic technical and troubleshooting skills. I spoke of a problem I had in the past inspection and the recent one. It was an intermittent problem with the inducer motor wheel/bearings (I found out through research on YouTube and forums). I told the techs (last inspection and recent inspection) that something in my HVAC system makes an intermittent squealing noise. I couldnt replicate it at the time of inspection but I kept mentioning it. I feel like this would be a common issue and certainly part of a PM (Preventive Maintenance checklist) to oil it up a drop or so. I didnt tell them it was the inducer motor bearings, I was waiting for them to go through the whole inspection pointing out all parts of the machine and potential issues in the future. They mentioned cleaning the fan blades for an up charge but I declined as Ill be doing it myself. So I finished the preventive maintenance by getting a small bottle of multi-purpose oil from Amazon (Zoom Spout Oiler, researched through reviews, YouTube). I made the squealing, high-pitched noise go away. I doubt Ill be getting any inspections in the future as it can mostly be done with some basic research. And thats why I gave 3 stars, because it was an okay job, but wouldnt recommend an inspection to friends.

My experience was fairly bizarre. To keep the story short, they solved my initial toilet flushing issue, but caused it to leak (which it was Not doing before.) They said theyd fix this free of charge, due to the guarantee, except they didnt. The plumber missed aprox. 3 appointments to resolve the leak issue, charged a credit card hundreds of dollars without authorization, and made up a bizarre story to the owner of my condo that there was usual sexual activity that caused the toilet to leak. (Yes, this really happened.) I felt extremely uncomfortable after the sexual comment, and I will Never do business with them again. If youd like to be creeped out, as well as wait around for days for the plumber to show up, go with this company. But, Im sure there are several other plumbers in the area who could do the job with much more decency.

I usually dont write negative reviews, but they earned this one. I had them Jiffy come out to inspect my Vermont Castings NG stove. The stove worked great prior to inspection, but after they took it apart and put it back together, it was not working properly. The pilot was noisy and sputtering, and the stove wouldnt light. I called them back to schedule for them to come out again. They were supposed to be out today between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. It is now 2:30 and I am still waiting. I called them at 1:40, to ask if they were on time. They said yes. When I call at 2:15, they tell me that theyre behind, and they cant get in contact with the technician. Not only are they late, but they are coming out to fix their own mistakes. If youre going to use Jiffy Plumbing and Heating, expect poor technical and customer service.

Jiffy Plumbing has provided excellent and speedy service as usual. My technician, Bobby, is very knowledgeable and always informs me on what is being done on my problematic circumstances. He also lets the customer knows what is best down the long run before starting any repairs. I specifically request his services whenever I get into a jam! The company also provides various discounts to patrons that qualify for them. Again, Bobby has been precise in details, professional, and leaves the work station cleaner than what it was. I cannot count how many vacation days and Saturdays I have wasted sitting around my house and waiting for someone to show up to work on my gas fireplace. The dispatchers are not honest and will tell you anything to get you off the phone. I had a 9 - 11 am appointment today, and at 4:00 pm no one had shown up. All I get are phone calls every couple of hours that the tech is running late. This happens EVERYTIME!!! Somebody needs to learn how to manage the company and know that their customers time is valuable. I will say, that if you ever get them there, the work has been decent. But good luck getting them there within a 12 hour window.

Jiffy has serviced my furnace and AC for several years and they have always been prompt, professional and courteous. Todays checkup with Pete was no exception! Pete was very thorough and did some fine tuning so my furnace will work better, which is terrific since it is 29 degrees today. He also looked at my gas fireplace and did a little cleaning, which had never been done before. I was most appreciative of his help and expertise and his belief in being thorough! They have also replaced furnaces for several of my friends and have done an excellent job. I highly recommend them!

NEGLIGENT COMPANY!!! Hired to convert wood buring to gas firplace & run line to kitchen. While work was acceptable, Jiffy was responsible for ensuring inspection of gas line within 5 days of installation. I just discovered 7 months later, no inspection completed. Leaving my property not to mention my safety and health as risk for possible gas leak or even explosion!!!!! Jiffy expressed on concern for the neglect or remorse over their consumers concern. Quick to overcharge for services, but extremely lack on follow through. Buyer beware!!!!!

We recently converted to gas from oil in May 2016. Everything was going ok with hvac unit til about last month we noticed the unit would just shut off. So I called jiffy and it has been down hill from there. Contractor comes out Monday and tells us the damper is defective and we are still waiting for jiffy to contact us. I have to wake up from sleep every morning to reset unit to get heat. I AM SO MAD AND DISAPPOINTED AT THIS COMPANY. IT SEAMS NO ONE CARES AT JIFFY.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM. COSTUMER SERVICES IS AWFUL.

I had two good experiences with these guys and then one horrible experience, where the plumber estimated a lower price and then wanted to charge more than double when the work was done. When I tried to resolve the issue with the manager, Mark, I had the single worst customer service experience of my life. He called me a liar and shouted at me on the phone! I feel bad because the first two plumbers we had were good, but avoid these guys, because the business end is shady.

I had a leak in my condo spreading across the floor and on the roof below. I called Jiffy and the guy who showed up looked around a bit and told me it is the water supply behind the washer and drier and it will be $900 to fix it since he weeds to pull the washer and drier and rip the dry wall. I payed him his show up fee and let him go. Then called Thomas plumbing in less then five min they found the leak in the ac drain in the attic and fixed it. Cost $120.
