VERY DISAPPOINTED !!!! The plumber from Stambaugh ( Gerry) came to our house and said the problem appeared to be our well pump or a broken wire, if it was the pump it would cost $800 to repair and if he had to replace the pump, pipe and everything else he said it would be $1100. I had to go to work so my wife stayed home while the repairs were done, imagine my surprise when I came home and found out the bill was $1538 and to top that off the plumber left the cover off the contact switch leaving exposed live wires, the valve he worked on was now leaking ( it didnt leak before) , he broke a bolt off my well cap and put it back on very crooked ( wasnt on properly. They charged me $835 just for the pump and I looked it up online and found it for $432 and even our local home improvement center had the pump for $610 ! Stambaugh made a huge markup ! I called them and they offered no reduction on the bill even though I was quoted one price and charged a whole lot more, they advertise on their website they have great prices on their well pumps ? really ? at almost double I dont see that as a good price ! I would NOT RECOMMEND Stambaugh to anyone for any repairs at all !

Responsive in coming out off hours on short notice to diagnose furnace issue. Poor quality - 4 screws left over when done so clearly did not put things back together properly. Panel improperly replaced causing banging noise every time fan came on. Fixed this myself next morning after a restless night listening to it banging ever time the heat came on. Examined the smoke detector and dislodged the battery so detector beeped intermittently - I fixed that while he was still here. Nice fella but not competent - $187.50 for hardly any benefit. Being nice and responsive does not make up for failure to solve the issue and poor quality of work.

I was told $50 /hr rate and agreed to have a plumber come to unclog toilet. Dumb and fat new guy arrived and stumbled around for 20 minutes looking for his plunger!!! He then slopped around for 1.5 hours without success. My neighbor ordered to help and unplugged it in 5 minutes. The neighbor said the plumber was intoxicated as he smelled beer breath. I was charged $415 because beer breath reported his time as 6 hours inflating his on site time and pay. I complained and got it reduced after lengthy dispute with owner and threat of reporting consumer fraud. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RING OF THEIVEVES!!!!!!!!!

Im not sure why the other people complained so much??? Ive had nothing but great experiences with Stambaugh - I bought my furnace from them 9 years ago and they are the ONLY people I call for service. Today Ian came out to check out my humidifier. Professional, pleasant and gave me a bunch of options that I could choose from! The price was reasonable! THANK YOU STAMBAUGH!!

Not a big deal tech was an hour late past a 3 hour window in mid July, to be expected. Fixed the problem within 5 minutes by blowing co2 into a clogged condensation line. The problem is paying $65 for a $2 cartridge. Got the job done quickly but VERY pricey.

Everyone was friendly and efficient. Worked diligently and stayed on task. Any questions were answered promptly. Cleaned areas they worked in. Very pleased. Just waiting for warmer weather which I know will be here before we know it.
