We were being transferred from southern Maryland to the Fort Bragg, NC area, and honestly if I had to do this over again I would have just moved everything myself. Having moved with the military previously, I can say this was the worst experience we could have had. The packers were to show up on Wednesday, the one lady got there at 9:30 am and states her partner was having car trouble but she would get started. 11:30-12 comes around she comes and says she has to go pick up her partner at the office, well that office is about and hour-hour and half from my home. 4 hours later they manage to come back. They were in my home till 10:30 pm, we lived in a 3 br 1 bath 1500 sqft house. As if this isnt bad enough, things just continue to to get worse. The movers show up the following day and begin packing our goods on the truck. I could tell there were going to be issues when the didnt wrap the Chester drawer and about lost it coming down the stairs when the drawers flew open. They were supposed to deliver Monday at noon, my husband took a day of leave to be at the house to receive our goods. They didnt show up till 7 pm and were throwing our belonging off the truck till midnight, sure the new neighbors appreciated this. I am hurt, and disappointed of the total disregard for the care of our belongings by these movers. Some of our furniture is expensive some not so much, but we worked hard to get what we do have and to have it abused and torn to hell by the "professionals" that were hired to move our belongings is heartbreaking. My daughters south woods reproduction chair, 1k$ value, had the leg totally snapped in half, the 200$ cat condo was snapped into in three pieces, my IKEA shelving unit that weve had 6 years, been only on carpet and was pristine when it left now has scratches and grooves all over the side, a hole punched in the top, our king size mattress has a hole torn in it, the ikea desk was broken in half and one piece put in my daughters room the other half in my sons, missing 1 leg to my daughters bed, cannot find the hardware to assemble our bed, everything was taken off the truck and just thrown in the garage or a room. Nothing was really taken to the appropriate room In the house because they were in such a hurry due to their poor time management skills. Our two extension ladders according the driver were "accidentally" left on the truck and he would bring them by on his next trip through. Well its been a week and our ladders arent here, so as far as Im concerned, Antonio stole them. Boxes were thrown in the garage upside down and busted breaking my daughters glassware. This list can go on and on, all I can say is if you are moving from the Maryland area find someone else to do your move.

We were assigned this company for our military move. Due to our location, we were assigned to the Jessup, MD branch of the company. I have never met movers so rude and worthless. The general manager, Rick Disanti has to be the most unprofessional manager there is. Somehow, it was decided that two 60-70 year olds to pack all of our stuff. For perspective, we are a family of 5 and were living in a large 2 story home with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. Our house was cluttered but far from "disgusting" as described by Thelma, one of the 2 movers they sent. She went out to her truck, called Rick (the manager) and refused to come back in. When I spoke with Rick, he was extremely rude and said hed be sending quality control to our house and if it really was as disgusting as described, hed see to it that we were cancelled. Rick explained to me that I needed to be considerate of the fact that our movers were older and had some knee and back issues and to help them as much as I could *if* they came back in after quality control left. Last time I checked, it is not the responsibility of the clients to do the job of the employees! If they were in such a position to need that help, why were they sent in the first place?! Quality control came. Low and behold, our house was....thats right....just fine. There was no reason for anyone to refuse to pack anything. Looking back, I wish we would have just told Thelma to get the hell out of our house. Our 7 year olds could have done a better job with much nicer attitudes. This woman had the nerve to pack my husbands wedding band he had left sitting by the sink. Well, sort of. Its yet to be found. The box she had listed it as being packed in was unpacked and gone through many times with no sign of the ring. As if that wasnt bad enough, she only went on to further demonstrate her amazing packing skills! She wrapped a 5 inch, plastic, doll house toy in 8 pieces of packing paper and taped all the way around it. Seriously, the number of boxes we opened to find things like this was almost unfathomable! Not to mention the boxes we opened to discover she had just thrown everything in. Moral of my review: if you EVER have to choose a moving company from the Jessup/DMV area, pick anyone else or do it yourself! My husbands wedding band is still missing and so many of our things have been discovered broken.
