Honest, courteous, trustworthy, fair-priced; would use again Move from Maryland to Florida: Choosing a moving company was difficult since every company has both 5 and 1 star reviews, so we were nervous choosing Western Express. I am happy to report that I highly recommend Western Express. The whole team is Intelligent, totally organized including writing a detailed inventory, careful custom packing, attention to details, great teamwork, and an added plus, the most pleasant, friendly, yet totally polite and professional crew. Crew phoned 90 minutes before arrival, and were 30 min earlier than appointment, which is always better than being several hours late! I thought the price was comparable with PODS without having to find movers at each end. The price did not change from the original accurate estimate. And dont let me forget to mention sales rep extraordinaire Oscar who seemed to have the customers interest forefront, never oversold or falsely promised when we were comparing other companies, patiently explained the details, and accurately estimated the weight of our boxes and furniture. James in the office was warm and responsive to my many questions and particular situation of moving and insuring artwork. The packing crew were just terrific, smart and careful. Delivery was 2 days later than requested, but I am keeping the 5 star rating, because this is often the case, and it wasnt 10 days late, was within my acceptable range, and the communication about the delayed arrival was acceptable. They were able to deliver during the 8am-3pm requirement of property manager. They never left me doubting my possessions would arrive. Everything arrived in good condition. I will be using Western Express for my next move.

Dont ever use this company. Hired them on May 20th for June 28th and gave them my credit card number. We did all the confirmation emailing and calling on Monday June 26th. I did all the packing and was all ready for them at around noon and the waiting game began. They were suppose to come in between 1 and 2.... at 2:45 I called James, the sales person, few times on the same number that I talked to him on before, NO ANSWER. Finally called the company and the dispatcher kept connecting me to this bogus number with full mailbox. She did that FIVE TIMES... i finally asked her not to do that anymore as soon as she picked up. I then FINALY talked to another person, and he said that earliest time they can move me is July 1st..... WHAT????? I have to move out by then in order not to be charged for another months rent. How can I pay rents for two apartments? He was very unapologetic and careless telling me that they are moving government offices at this time and James didnt know about the dates and I must change my date to July 1st. As if I dont have anything else to do, just to sit around my old place surrounded by boxes and bags. I asked him if this is how the sales people communicate with the dispatchers and he answered : "NOT REALLY" These people are bunch of croocks who has no regards for others. If next door pays them a penny more, they are sold and could care less about their contracts or promises. If you dont want to sit around watching your whole life in boxes, if you dont have lots of days and time offs from work, if you dont want to end up in a hotel for few nights, cause u dont have a bed to sleep on while paying for TWO APARTMENTS, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE......

I wish i could give ZERO stars. They are crooks. Not only did the refuse to pay employees they have felons working for them and they have high security military goods in the possession of criminals. They also knowingly hire illegal immigrants to handle state department items with secured information. They have zero security at there building leaving military good unsecured and the employees they have have stolen goods and were REHIRED because they needed people to help out. Unbelievable how they do business. The owner Chris is an extremely unprofessional man who values money more than quality and stole from an employee by refusing to pay for work rendered. They had a lapse and didnt pay there workers compensation and an employee was hurt in the job which is now pending in litigation. They wont pay his medical bills and the state of maryland has already fined them for noncompliance. We had to resort to getting with the labor board and state commission as well as states attorney who is in the process of hitting them big for noncompliant workers comp. This is the most unprofessional company Ive ever seen. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Your items run the risk of being stolen and personal information in the hands of documented criminal. Been in the military 24 years moved several times. The worst movers I have ever experienced. They showed up late and always had an excuse all four days that I had to deal with them. They packed everything up and didnt label it so 99 percent of it ended up in the garage piled up to the ceiling. All the furniture was taken apart and for some reason they lost the bolts, Im sure it was a cover up to so they didnt have to put it together. I have pictures I posted on Facebook if anyone wants to see the mess they left me. The sad thing is as a curtesy we fed them all and four days and supplied water.. last time I ever do that for any moving company. Im still unpacking the mess they left I will be sure to make sure TMO for the military hears about this and gets them off the contract list because lots of my military friends had the same results. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS EVEN IF THEY SAY THEY WILL DO IT FOR FREE!

This company is amazing. Out of all the moving companies I contacted to help move my disabled brother, this company was extremely responsive and even sent someone out to give us an estimate in person. They provided an affordable quote and made a difficult move go so much easier. They called the day before to confirm the appointment and then 3 amazing guys showed up the next morning. These men were careful with everything, especially all my brothers special medical equipment and took great care not to track any dirt or mud from the rain in the house. I will be highly recommending Western Express Movers to all my family members, friends, and neighbors. It will be great to know I can depend on Western Express Movers should I ever need to move in the future. Thank you Western Express!!!!

We were hired by Danny Harrelson in order to help facilitate the moving of some equipment in Ashland, VA. We provided our services above and beyond what we were initially told by Danny. The pickup and delivery of the equipment was a complete and total success due to our involvement. After the job was complete and our invoice was sent, Danny refused to pay us for services he rendered. Danny represented Western Express very poorly and unprofessionally. IF YOU ARE A VENDOR OR HIRED AS A VENDOR, PLEASE BEWARE, BECAUSE YOU RISK NOT BEING PAID. OUR EXPERIENCE WITH DANNY HARRELSON AND THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT OF WESTERN EXPRESS WAS TERRIBLE. OUR COMPANY DOES NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM BASED ON OUR EXPERIENCE.

If I could give negative stars for this company I would. Worst customer service, worst reliability I have experienced in 14 moves. My move was completed August 1 and I was moving a third of my items. I still have not been compensated for those items and the lack communication from the company is something I could never imagine! I highly recommend using any other company than this, incredibly horrible experience!!!
