Dropped the car as suggested. After 9 days with no response, was told , I will get an estimate next day...based on detailed description of problems given in writing. No response next day..after insisting to talk to the owner, he tells me the diagnosis cost of $135, I am already charged by him to test/diagnose the engine problems....and a detailed work for other suspension issues....estimated at $880. I declined that expensive work, agreeing only to fix vac leak as diagnosed.A note with details of complaints was given to him, with clear alert that I need ESTIMATE only!! Following day,[Apr 8, 2015], the 10th day I had to collect the car ONLY after paying in the office, that I did to my surprise an amount of $272. After I paid at the office, only then the owner, Mr Zygmut brings the car out and hands it over tome, ignoring the questions I asked. He gave me wishy washy answers to the additional $62 he charged for security system diagnosis...over and above $135. Knowing it was past his closing time of 6.00pm, I drove away,,hoping he took care of the issues. But .... on arrival at home in 25 mts I found quickly, there was no improvement in the engine idle, the lines he removed and gave tome were thick wall vac lines...and what he put on were rather thin collapsible lines that none puts on vacuum applications. But worse.... the idle was never fixed, he vac was never an issue...so I was robbed. Iam trying to address the injustice....donot know if he is the type to listen even !

Ive been going to German Auto Service since 2008. I have a 2003 Audi A6 4.2L Quattro. The first car I had them repair was my 1989 Mercedes Benz 300 SE (Ive sold it since). Ive never had a problem with any of the services they have provided. Ive been a loyal customer because I believe that they charge a fair price and do a good job in any/all repairs that were done to my vehicles. Ive a had a multitude of issues with the Audi especially since it has over 130K miles on it. Every time I brought it to the shop, they were able to diagnose and fix the problem. Theyre accommodating and willing to find the best solution to fix your car. In some cases, I will bring in parts and will have them install on the vehicle for me (try doing that to a dealership!), they will not guarantee the part of course but the labor is very good. One thing to note is that you have to follow up and call to get a status on your vehicle. Other than that, I would recommend them for any/all German car repairs. Ive recommended them to my fellow military and civilian friends, and have not heard any complaints. Great service, fair price!

The most unbelievably BAD experience of my life. Dropped off a 2003 Beetle for engine work. After a couple of days, I called. "Mechanic will call you back, He is busy." After a week, same thing. After two weeks, the same thing. Finally, a call is returned. "Check your car. Have an estimate." "Waiting on parts" After three weeks, Im stopping by when I can. "Waiting on Parts". Stop by to pick up the car and take it somewhere else. Car hasnt moved in 4 weeks! Blocked in by other cars. Difficult to get to them before 6. Close on the weekend. When I leave work early to get there by 5, no one is there to give me the car. After 30!!! days, still "Waiting on parts" The reason one has a car, is to use the car. Finally, in week five, I get the car with MORE problem. "We can fixed the new problem. Leave it for an estimate". No thanks, $2,000 and 35 days is enough. Should I get an attorney? I cant rate, 0 is not an option.

I took my Audi here for a low oil pressure issue. I spent $500 and the problem was not fixed. I brought the car back in and after a week I had to call THEM to figure out what the issue was. After I called them, they told me right away that I would have to spend another $800 to fix the problem. They told me that they never checked the oil pressure after they made the original repair and now I needed to pay for another diagnostic check. How is it possible that I brought my Audi in for low oil pressure and they never even checked their work? To make matters worse they made me pay for the diagnostic check after I told them I didnt want them to repair the car. Please do not go here!!!

Weve been taking our 2000 BMW 323i & 2002 ML 320 to German Auto Service for almost 10 years! The whole team feels like family to us & they take care of our vehicles like they own them. From routine maintenance to major repairs, Weve always been impressed with their approach and service. They always go the extra mile to fit us in & finish the service quickly. Its noteworthy to mention that our 323i has almost 190,000 miles & runs/looks like new. We cant thank them enough for being such a helpful, friendly auto service.

When I bought my mercedes I was concerned about the maintenance costs. In reality, and thanks in no small part to German Auto Service, it hasnt been that bad. Overall I have less repairs than I had with other cars. I credit German Auto with being scrupulously honest with me on what does and does not need to be done to the vehicle. There is no doubt that past vehicles have had unnecessary work done elsewhere. I am extremely pleased with everything they have recommended I have done at German Auto.

This is by far the most horrible auto shop I have ever taken my vehicle to. I took my Audi there for parking brake malfunction, they had the car for 9 days, change a switch “supposedly” and could not get the brake to work or even tell me the problem. At the end I had to call them and take the car back from them, nine (9) days and almost $500.00 dollars later my car in not fix and now I have to take it to a real German Auto Mechanic. Please do not let this people work on your car. You will regretted!

Dreadful . Please avoid this place at your own peril. Ive sunk a lot of money into Swiek and his crew, but he overcharges and he gives no quarter to repeat customers. I was stranded and towed my 993 to his shop. All that was needed was a fuel relay - $500 for the privilege of a $30 part. I wanted him to look at a loose console piece. His reply - "we dont work outside, we are not a gas station". What arrogance. Ive spent nearly $10,000 at his shop. Quoth the Raven "Nevermore"

Good honest service! Quality work. Ive been coming here over 10 yrs for all of my cars. They are straightforward with me through the whole process, and call me before they do any work to have me approve it after they gave me the estimates for all the work needed. They never try to get me to do more work than I need to at the time, which saves me a lot of money. I dont believe that others would treat me so honestly!
