Where to start, I went to Ulta hoping to get a new look. I wanted to lighten my hair and definitely subtle highlights. Thus, decided to try balayage highlights. Well I went into the store and was directed to speak to Lindsay for a hair consultation. As I begin explaining what I wanted & the color result I wish to acquire, all she did was nodded and said “okay”. Next, without attaining any information regarding my hair history, she proceeded to book me an appointment as a matter of fact she never once examine my hair. Of course, puzzled by her customer service I explained that I had dyed my hair black and thus it was not my natural hair color and I had caramel highlights in the back (bottom layers). That’s when she smiled and said “oh okay” thanks for letting me know I need to schedule you in for more time. Never did she ask how long ago I had dyed it (this was definitely a sign: awful hair dresser). Anyhow I did set up an appointment. Well to my intuition and disappointment left me looking like a carrot. I had asked for a caramel-honey color and she gave me golden brown color (this was what it appeared inside the salon). By the way she only gave me partial uneven highlights when I specifically had requested all over highlights. Of course, I paid and went home. I’m usually not someone who neither complains nor likes to argue. When I got home I noticed that my highlights were choppy. My strands were not evenly dyed and I had more highlights on one side, few on the other. This explains why she had styled my hair sideways after explaining that I part my hair in the middle. Three days later, after washing my hair it turned to an orangey-reddish brassy color. When I called the salon and explained my hair situation, I was given the roundabouts and was told that my shampoo had caused my hair to turn orange. However, I’ve been using the same shampoo for over 10 years and what was ironically was that my previous highlights (bottom layers didn’t turn brassy or orange) and I was told that I would need to pay for any corrections. Dismay by what I was been told decided to walk in to the store and speak to the manager, India mason, who immediately brushed me off. She stated that I had left happy and I if wanted any extra highlights I would have to pay. I tried to explained that the stylist, Lindsay, had styled my hair a way where I couldn’t tell how uneven and my highlights were and to make matter worse they had turned orangey brassy. Reluctant to examine my hair or hear my concerns, India, just told that there was nothing she could do and that I would need to pay for any additional services. I however, decided to go somewhere else to get my hair corrected, more chemicals added to my healthy hair : ( Of course, if i would had followed my gut feeling of of how inexperience the stylist was in obtain basic hair information . I wouldnt have to put my beautiful long hair through all those chemicals.

I am a big Ulta fan and this location is the closest to me, every time I visit this location they are ALWAYS! ALWAYS out of everything Im looking for,even when their website says available at that location!! the staff tells you they are out of stuff without even bothering to look in their system or elsewhere!! They are always trying on things on themselves and barely aknowledge your there and if they do acknowledge you they are rude and unprofessional , especially the young guy cant remember his name!! I worked for retail before (MAC) to be specific and even when it was hectic with crazy hours and full of people, I was never this rude or careless about costumers thats why going to this store irritates me so much!! From now on I will just travel a little more and save myself a headache! And by the way im not a rude or needy costumer but it just seems like everytime I go to this store i leave dissapointed thats why i decided to leave a feedback maybe management gets these people in their place!!

I went here to get my brows done and eye lashes put on for the first time. Everything was going good. The lady was my brows and left a small mark between my brows, I guess is bled or something. Anyways whats worse then that is two days after I got my lashes on I tried taking them off. They bothered me when I tried to sleep and it was my first time wearing fake lashes. Anyways I went back and asked them to take them off and she went to the manager and asked if she could and the lady said she couldnt and they dont sell remover there.. so then the lady gave me two q tips with stuff on it and told me to go to my car. Anyways, I ended up going to a beauty supply store and getting eye lash remover and make up remover which did the trick after almost going blind.. needless to say I wont be going back.

A coworker of mine went here a few months ago to get a keratin treatment. She has very, very thick wavy hair. Ive never seen her scalp, lol. The treatment was beautiful on her. She wound up with reddish overtones and deep waves. I dont know if that was the intended result, because she didnt ask for color, but it looked great. Ive seen very poor reviews for this salon, so Id do my due diligence. Find out who the star beautician is. She or he must exist, because my friends hair was gorgeous!

I had the worst experience at this salon. First they screwed up my appointment, then ruined my hair!!! I went to get my highlights toned down and the salon lady just colored my whole head. Then I went back to get them fixed and then she charged me for the whole service again. Be careful choosing this ulta salon for your hair. People have their own prices and will mess up your hair. The manager has a lot of attitude as well.

This is a great place for any beauty buy. The people are great and helpful. They also are super generous with the samples. The selection is a little overwhelming but very organized & clean so its just knowing what you want. I suggest trying something new with every visit cause there is so many awesome finds. I bought a eyeliner pencil on promotion on a cheaper price, but I found out I bought the wrong color and wanted to make an exchange. The sales chareged me with the regular price, which was as double as the price. but she didnt tell me exchange would made a different price.

I got my nails done here and it was such a bad experience. They only do gel nails and obviously theyre supposed to last a long time but they were starting to chip the day after. It got very annoying and I ended up peeling them off easily. Would not recommend.

Rude employees. Asked one of the male employees (didnt catch his name) for a specific item, he didnt even stop to help he just kept walking while answering my question and was rude about it. I wont b returning here!

Staff was friendly and helpful even though I walked in there ten minutes before they closed. Store was clean and organized. Looking forward to getting coupons!
