I was listening to the Christian radio station and heard about this realty office. We are Christians and had a real estate need, so I was happy to hear about them. I called and got their recorder, saying they would call back in 5-10 minuets. I sat and waited looking over their website for at least 15 minutes and then called back. At that point, I was not upset at all. At first, I asked a totally honest question. I very nicely asked her, if I had not called back, how long would it have been till I would have gotten a return call. Well she obviously didnt like that I asked that, and a hostile attitude immediately was evident. I thought the immediate attitude was weird, in that I have run three small businesses in my life, and I would never treat a potential client like that....over literally nothing. It was an honest question, and I was so surprised that she was going to literally choose to create an unprofessional fuss out of thin air concerning it. I really wanted to know if the 5-10 minute recorded promise usually is close to how it goes. She literally ignored the question, she got a tone immediately and began provoking me with IS THERE something you need?. I was surprised at her rudeness, and stayed polite, saying I asked an honest question, thats the need I have first" . She ignored that totally, and said again , more condescending,: excuse me, do you NEEEED somethingggg? I held my ground and my patience and said calmly, I asked a question, that is my first need. She then exploded, with a slew of accusation and anger and hung up on me. I had no time to even ask who this person was, and I would sure like to know. I had been a regular person needing real estate help, and this lady is insulting and blowing off her brokers callers for him. now, I thought that was bad, weird, surprising and beyond belief frankly. So I left a message with the owner of that office, Jeff. I have run businesses, so I really believed he would care about this kind of abuse occurring at his office when he is away. Nope, never heard any response from him:) Even more amazing than the angry mean nutty lady that answers his phones. So much for Keller Williams, I called Remax, and there I will stay for the remainder of my families needs. I have six grown kids, a slew of rental houses, and we are all investors. Such bad business to hire people with chips on their shoulders, that have terrible PR skills, are unprofessional and think its some kind of hobby to abuse the public at the drop of a hat. Well, its not my business, so I guess to each his own. I refuse to run my business that way:) Never have, never will. We LOVE our customers!!!!, even the ones with honest questions!
