You guys were absolutely AMAZING!! I really didnt think having a total sewer line replacement was going to be so easy!! You guys showed up within 24 hours of my call for an estimate and less then another 24 hours permits were pulled and my total sewer line was replaced!! Chuck did an excellent job of evaluating my problem, explaining our fix, and giving me a VERY FAIR estimate for my expensive job! You guys went above and beyond and didnt try to overcharge or rip us off. Its Very hard to find a good honest company that does excellent work and doesnt try to take advantage of you in an emergency situation!! I called 3 other common name plumbing companies for an estimate of my job. Two companies tried to charge me $1k-$1,500 more then Alpha Plumbing and the 3rd company said it cost $59 FOR AN ESTIMATE!! Since when does an estimate COST money?? I already knew what the problem was, I have had a large belly in my sewer line for years that along with all the rain created a HUGE sinkhole in my yard (or so I thought that was my only problem) that was trying to take my blacktop driveway down with it! When Chuck came out for the estimate he was very thorough and said he believes something else was going on, along with the belly in my line. The other 2 companies said NOTHING about an additional cause to my sinkhole! Chuck said when they dig to replace the line they will investigate Chucks hunch on my additional problem. My husband was outside with them while they were doing the work, and Chuck was RIGHT we did have another problem A HUGE ONE! There was a dry well the previous owners blacktopped over in the driveway and it had collapsed. There was a huge 3ft wide X 3ft DEEP hollow space under the driveway and was a true miracle that the blacktop didnt collapse into the hollow space and take the car or one of my children with it! I cant say thank you enough to Chuck and Alpha Plumbing for there thoroughness, honesty, knowledge and quick response! I will definitely recommend Alpha Plumbing to all of my friends and family! (Already gave your number to the neighbor two doors down). Alpha Plumbing is the company you should call in your time of need! Im so glad I did! Forgot to mention they installed an additional clean out in the front yard free of charge. Cleaned up my yard as much as they possibly could and put grass seed down. And there is a 10 year warranty/guarantee on my new sewer line. ***Late last week after they did such a fantastic job on my sewer line, I scheduled them to fix my leaky toilet. I must say I am absolutely impressed with this company! My scheduled appointment was between 8:30am-9am. The plumber Mike called to let me know he would be at my home in 15 minutes and was promptly on time for my appointment. He was very friendly, explained step by step my problem and how he was going to fix it, and did an excellent job! Even took a moment to give my very excited pit bull some attention and a few good scratches! He did an excellent job and even cleaned up before he left! The price was fair and exactly as quoted. I am very impressed with this company and will be the only ones I call for all of my plumbing needs! Thank you Mike, Chuck and all of the Alpha Plumbing team! P.s. Mike is a great asset to your team! Update (2017): Alpha Plumbing is my go-to for any plumbing needs for my parents and myself. This time I had to call Alpha Plumbing to fix a mistake I made when I tried to fix a drip in my shower faucet. When trying to replace the Delta cartridge, I used too much force to remove the brass ring and twisted the small copper pipes which caused water to leak behind the wall and water to leak down from the kitchen ceiling on the floor below. Big problem. Chris came out and fixed up my mistake in a very professional and timely manner. He cut through the drywall behind the shower, cut out and removed the broken value and replaced it with a new one as well as replacing my old fixtures in my shower. My shower now looks better than it did before. Then he reattached the drywall. Im amazed at what he was able to do. And the cost for the great work was very fair and reasonable. Original Review (2016): I had a leaky outside faucet that I couldnt figure out how to fix/replace and Alpha Plumbing came out and quickly replace the leaking vacuum breaker as well as replacing new washers. Now everything is working great. Chris and Bob were very nice and professional and did a great job. I thought the price was very reasonable. I have used Alpha Plumbing in the past for work (digging out and replacing an old worn out leaking pipe, installing a utility tub, and fixing an oil burner) at my parents house and they were always super professional and always did a great job. They are my go-to guys for any plumbing work that needs to be done.

I had called around for estimates for a broken sewer lateral from my house to the property line in Baltimore County. Most of the estimates were "out of this world", ranging from $2500 to $3500. I called Alpha Plumbing because they had a great rating from Angies List and they are a faith based company. Both of these attracted my interest. The owner came by and did a video surveillance of the sewer drain line. He found the break just 8 feet from the outside wall of the house. He then gave me an excellent quote to do the work and I hired him on the spot. He arrived the date we had agreed upon with a two man crew and a backhoe and went to work. They dug up my front lawn and tried to save the grass strips that they had to remove to get to the pipe. They made the repair, installed a clean-out (one was not present) and filled the trench with as much care as they could while still trying to maintain the sod. These guys were extremely professional, courteous and friendly, and I would not hesitate to recommend Alpha Plumbing to anyone who needed plumbing work done. Great Job Guys!!!!! R Mallory

My husband and I recently purchased a new home. We were referred to Alpha Plumbing by a friend who said they were reliable. Unfortunately we have experienced the contrary. Our home needed plumbing work for an inspection deadline. In preparation we scheduled an appointment with Alpha Plumbing several days prior. They ended up canceling the appointment, the very day they were scheduled to come out! We gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled the work (after the inspection since we did not have the time to reschedule someone else). Again, they canceled on us SAME DAY! My husband took off work to accommodate this appointment. We believe this is extremely unprofessional and will not be using them or referring people in the future. I recommend looking elsewhere if you have a deadline that needs to be met.

I had previously written a review extolling the virtues of this company. They were a delight to work with, fast, courteous, helpful, punctual and clean working. I had a rather big emergency project to be done on my newly purchased home and it could not have gone better. I referred them to my boss when he had a big-ish job to be done and everything held true. They did a great job saying what they would do, doing what they said and on time with a great attitude. I would recommend them to any one with confidence!! update!!!!! Two years after this review, I had cause to call them again for another big project and everything I previously said still held true. They rock!!
