I will never use this company again. This company lacks communication and lacks regard for urgent matters. They have drug their feet on services but when asked about it, constantly uses excuses such as "we will look into it tomorrow" or "it is on the list to be taken care of tomorrow". To date, the company has been paid in full for the service (their requirement) but has not completed the work. If not completed by the end of this week, a refund will be requested for the uncompleted work. Type of work to be completed is a pressure test on the gas line. Also, beware pricing. They will rake up the pricing once starting the job. They charge approximately $150 per hour. Dont let them give you a basic quote just to get in the door. Good luck if you choose to use this sorry company! -- review from June 7, 2016 Update: if I could I would give them zero stars! Called the company today to complete the job. All they have to do is put the piping back together. When they came out in May/June to start the work I sat and watched the plumber take apart the piping as needed to do his job. Tonight a plumber came out to put the fittings back as they were but was hesitant since he wasnt the original plumber that started the job (a trait that all three plumbers expressly portrayed). He tried to tell me that they never took the pipe apart. I explained that I sat and watch the action take place. The plumber fought me on what I seen then stated he doesnt know because he wasnt there. What since does it make to fight fact with opinion when you have an eye witness as opposed to what you think will defend your company. He then proceeded to tell me it would cost me in parts and labor until they figure out what happened. What since does this make. The man came out, seen the companys equipment attached to the my pipes, removed the attached equipment from the pipes and then stated that they didnt take off fittings... well how did your companys caps and gauge get on the pipes... Anyways, once the plumber stopped fighting me on the situation and admitting that it is his opinion, he proceeded out the door with the companies materials and told me his boss was in church and couldnt speak to anyone til morning. I called the office and they stated that the boss was on a job in New Jersey. Honestly, this leads me to question the integrity of the company. Why lie about something as small as that. If youll lie about that then you lie about anything. This company is crooked in the worse way but claim they are a Christian company. I believe thats a hoax to get business from those that rather patronize a Christian company. When the man finally left he had the audacity to tell me that there are thousands of hungry kids out there and Im worried about this. What does that have to do with anything. When I spoke to the lady in the office, she informed me that the owner will call me Monday morning. So now I have to wait two three days to hear from him regarding this matter... no gas means no heat, hot water, cooking etc. and to make matters worse, Im losing rental income. Clearly this company is a giant hoax and doesnt care about its clients. If not resolved by Monday, I will get my lawyer involved. This is ridiculous.

Stilwell put in a water heater January 2015. A gas leak was found by a profession about 17 days after the 1 yr warranty. Immediately we called Stilwells emergency line we never got a call back! We called them back in the morning and was told by a very nasty and sarcastic young lady to call your local gas company and that its out of warranty so they will charge us a full service fee to check it out (the same fee they would charge a new customer). We had someone else come out and fix the gas leak (that was in two different connections!) They also noticed rust on the top of the heater and said this should not be after one year. We then went to the BBB and after filing our complaint this is Stilwells unprofessional response..... Water Heater installed on 1/9/15. County inspector arrived 1/14/15 and passed work. Customer has a 90 day warranty with their home warranty company on said work. Complaint filed on 1/27/16. 9 months out of warranty. Even if we go by our warranty of 1 year which we dont have to but being the responsible company we are the customer is still 18 days out of warranty. So the question is how long should a company extend its warranty for, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year how about we all just live by what we agree to and take responsibilty for ours Addendum 2/19/16 This was Stiwells ridiculous rebuttal to our second response As i stated prior, this has nothing to do with us. Our warranty was over and we have no obligation to this customer at all. How unbelievably unprofessional!!! Be careful when you deal with this company

This "company" is simply one word : AWFUL. Scott showed up, went to the basement, looked at the sump pump pit for approximately 15 seconds then said this is not covered by the home warranty. I explained I talked to the warranty company (HSA), as well as, his office when I scheduled the appointment and they said it was covered. Scott told me I could pay him $635 and he could replace it in less than 10 minutes, but he wasnt doing the repair through HSA. He refused to wait while I called HSA ( I even showed him the contract showing the sump pump was covered) for authorization because he told me had "paying" jobs waiting. I called HSA after he left and they said they would cover the repair the tech just had to call in with the diagnosis, so I immediately called Stilwell and they said I was Scotts last job for the day and he was off and they had no way to contact him. Basically cost me a day off work, a service call fee and my sump pump is not working. HSA is sending a new company out tomorrow. STAY AWAY FROM STILWELL PLUMBING! They are rude, liars that have no interest in working with you or your home warranty company or explaining why they cant (wont) do the job. It was obvious they just wanted their $90 service call fee for the 4 minutes they spent here and tried to hussle me for another $635.00.

Stilwell was dispatched by my home warranty company to repair a shower valve. The plumber attempted to disassemble my old shower, and broke the trim, as well as the posi temp cartridge. While trying to put it back together, he leaked a large amount of water into my wall, causing a large water stain on the ceiling below. I was told that replacement parts were not available at their supplier, so their only option was to completely replace everything at a much higher cost on a later date. My warranty would not cover those costs. Rather than having Stilwell come back and complete the job, I reached out to another plumber that was recommended. He obtained the parts needed to perform the repair from the same supplier that Stilwell claimed did not have them. He completed the repair with no issues. Stilwell tried to scam me for hundreds of dollars by completely breaking my shower and stating that excessive work was needed to fix it. I would not recommend Stilwell to anyone, for any reason.
