If you call Obers, be sure to get the facts before you let them do anything. I called and asked specifically if they have a drain rotor and what it would cost. I got an hourly rate that was acceptable only to find out after the job was over that they charge an additional truck fee and nearly $90 to get the rotor off the truck and use it in addition to their hourly rate. Their place of business is close to me and the travel time and job could not have taken more than 45 min because I had everything ready for them including locating the clog, All that was needed was 10 min with the machine. Not at all happy with the bill or the attitude of the person I talked to when I called in to register my complaint. I will not be calling again. Nor will I recommend to any one. He seemed to have no problem loosing a customer and potentially 10 or however many happen to read my review.

Had a moderate clog which was backing up my sewage into my basement. Called obers and there solution was to rip up my driveway, destroy half of my basement, put in a whole bunch of new piping and a septic tank for this clog. Asked about a roto rooter and was told it wouldnt work or could damage piping. Estimate was 8000 dollars. Called klines, they came out with a roto rooter, cleared a good amount of the clog/build up. No more sewage backing up, havent had a problem since and I saved 7800. Would not recommend obers, they always charge what seems to be a exorbitant amount for a small time job.

Ober Plumbing is a great company to contract for plumbing issues. We had a water heater leak 2 years ago and they were very informative in their assessment and the estimate matched the final cost to replace. Last week we had a small sink leak in our kitchen and a number of other small issues with our toilets. Once again, they provided a great explanation as to what was causing the leak as well as a detailed description of what was needed to make the repairs. The estimated cost was very close to the final billing cost. Appreciate the honesty and explanation when they assess their jobs.

I had an emergency leak at 5:30 on a Friday in December. They were great. Someone was at my place in less than 30 minutes. Super helpful and professional.
