This company contracts with American Home Shield and is absolutely horrible. We scheduled through AHS to have 3 plumbing issues resolved. When Mays plumbing called us to schedule they informed us that they would only be doing one issue because that is what was given to them from AHS. I contacted AHS and they shared the report that was sent to Mayes Plumbing and it was for 3 issues. I called Mayes and shared with them the report form AHS and they still denied it. AHS called to call them back. During my call I also requested a 30 minute call prior to the tech arriving since the tenant who works 15 minutes away would need to leave work. The receptionist said that would be fine. On Tuesday April 25th the tech called me at exactly 2 minute and 33 seconds prior to arrival. I called Mayes upset that I didnt get the 30 minutes I requested and they stated they didnt have to give us 30 minutes. I shared that the 30 minutes was made available to me during my call last Thursday. She denied it. They stated that it was our responsibility to sit and wait 6 hours during a work week for someone to show. SIX HOUR WINDOW...who does that? The tech left and did not wait the 15 minutes for the tenant and the bill cost us $125 which they said we would have to pay again if we wanted them to come back out. Well that leaves me here; making to review and dispute with my bank and a review for the BBB. This company sucks!!!!! and their office staff and management are horrific.

Im only giving one star because 0 is not an option. I was refered to these guys by my home warranty company to come and fix a corroded pipe in my basement. They show up and tell me " oh yeah i know with 100% certainty that i can fix this" and" this should be a breeze and take 2 hours tops". They were in my house maybe six minutes and then they left and said my warranty company would vall me to schedule the actual repair. I just got off the phone wit the warranty company.. The plumbing company told them that they actually tried to repair the pipe and were unsuccessful and that they have to tear the pipe out of the wall. This means digging through the concrete wall and would only cost about 2,800. DO NO GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS.

I am very pleased with the service I received. I think his name was Jeremiah and his assistant they both took their time and they explained to me what they were doing. My bathroom sink was stopped up and when I flushed my toilet the bathtub made gurgling noise. He actual said it could be a vent problem. He snaked the sink and the water still did not go down. He poured some drain cleaner in it and it went down, it also solved the problem with the gurgling sound from the tub. So he solved both problems. I actual got a second opinion the other plumbers wanted to cut the sheet rock and redo the pipes. They came and did it without cutting anything. Am very satisfied.

Mayes Plumbing and Heating called promptly to say that someone would be dispatched in the AM on the holiday. The gentleman arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem which indicated a need for a new water heater. As our heater is over fifteen years old, he explained the ancillary services required to bring new installation up to code and compliant with county inspections. We appreciated the fore knowledge that there could be out of pocket charges based on our AHS coverage and we can plan accordingly. The gentleman was professional and courteous. I highly recommend Mayes Plumbing and Heating.

Receptionist told my wrong time window for the appointment despite me confirming it twice with her on the phone. Obviously no one was home for the appointment because of this mistake and when I called about the mistake they simply wanted to argue that I mustve written it down wrong and there would be a $60 missed appointment fee if I wanted them to actually come back and do the work. I will not be using this company again. No idea where all these 5 star reviews are coming from. Must be friends and family.

The technicians, Jeremiah and Dave, arrived at my home early in the predetermined appointment window. They identified the problem quickly, explained it to me thoroughly and made the repairs in a prompt professional manner. They said, should the problem continue or reoccur, that I should not hesitate to call and they would return and make any additional repairs as needed. Great job!"

I called Mayes Plumbing on Monday afternoon for a sewage ejector pump that wouldnt shut off. They were able to schedule me for the following afternoon. The technician was very courteous and professional, as well as extremely competent. The pricing was excellent and the service was very fast. Mayes Plumbing should be your first choice for your plumbing needs.

This is not service related, but i saw this companys van fly down 95south going at around 80-90mph. Literally zoomed passed me. Very reckless and a huge endangerment to other drivers on the road. Bad representation of this company as it seems the driver cares less about himself/company/and others that are sharing the road.

They are not helpful if you are trying to get a home warranty service done. Quick to collect your $75 dollars and point the finger at someone else. Gave me a very hard time about repairing a plumbing problem. Had at least 5-6 calls with them and then they wouldnt come back.

These so called "plumbers" came to my home supposedly to fix a plumbing issue. Not only did they try and tell me that I needed a $3,500 tub, they came with absolutely no TOOLS. What reputable plumber does that? They are THE WORST! Too bad reviewers cannot give zero stars.
