Called for plumbing issue and the technician was very pleasant and professional (Mike #703). But after spending 1.5 hours snaking my main sewer line it resulted in (doing a load of laundry) that the same issue was still occurring (sewage backing up into my showers). Service was great but what was done obviously didnt solve my problem, especially for the price I paid. Mike did say there were one or two blockages removed, but trying to do laundry tonight, I couldnt tell. Professionalism was great but obviously the technique was lacking. I did receive a six month warranty but for the amount of money paid, Im not sure I would or would not recommend Royo-Rooter to family or friends. Thank you Update: I made a new call to the company on 3/20/17 and identified that the above issue was still occurring. The customer service rep, Ms. Linda, was very helpful in scheduling a new appointment for the same day. Robert arrived and was very professional, personable and most importantly very knowledgeable concerning what I needed done. He was also prepared to ensure that my sewer line problem was fixed before leaving. A few days later I received a call from the GM, Bradly Howard. He was very concerned about my borderline dissatisfaction with the original service that was provided. He assured me that my feedback would be used as a learning tool and also offered to refund a $100 dollars of my overall payment for the services provided. This I gladly accepted. I really do appreciate the above and beyond customer service that was provided by Bradly. Most reviews are never looked at by anyone, but this proves to me as a current and future customer of Rotor Rooter, that the customers satisfaction is the #1 priority. And I really would recommend this company to anyone whom maybe in need of excellent service that will be provided by Rotor Rooter. Thank you All, Dawn King

Called roto-rooter to clean out utility drain that was draining slowly. The first technician came out and after several tries was unable to get through the clog. He did not have a camera with him to check to see if there was a break in the piped under the house he called to see if someon with a camera was available, but due to the lateness of the day he said that someone would be out the next morning to check the lines and see if there was a break. The next morning received a call saying the technician would be there within the hour and sure enough technicians Shawn & Andy showed up promptly. Shawn said he would try and snake the drain again before trying the camera to see if there were any breaks in the pipe. The day was already extremely hot and Shawn snaked the garage clean out first to make sure that part of the drain was clear and then he snaked the outside drain from the washing machine to the main line several times to break up the clog, he then used the camera to make sure there were no breaks in the line, and thankfully the pipes were not broken or leaking. Even in the blistering heat Shawn & Andy were very courteous and polite and took the time to explain ways to take care of old pipes and to keep them clear of clogs in the future and recommended a drain cleaner to use as a preventative. We have used Roto-Rooter in the past and have been happy with their work, but Shawn and Andy are the best technicians weve had. They are both knowledgeable and very polite and courteous with us! If we have any problems in the future we will definitely call Roto-Rooter again and I will definitely request Shawn! Thank You for your all your help!!

My husband and I tackled a bathroom remodel ourselves, ripping out an existing one-piece tub/shower surround and replacing with a four-piece set. After a full days worth of work, we discovered when we went to hook up the new shower fixtures that it wouldnt fit our existing plumbing. After doing some research we realized our 90s plumbing wasnt compatible with ANY modern shower fixtures. While were comfortable with a lot of DIY, we arent very comfortable with electrical or plumbing so we called an expert to help us complete our DIY remodel. Ernie, was FABULOUS. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He gave us props for the work wed done and explained we only made a couple minor and repairable mistakes from lack of experience. He remedied all our plumbing conversion issues and talked us through the next steps so we could finish our project on our own. We had the absolute best experience with Roto-Rooter. I was able to call Saturday afternoon and get a Sunday morning appointment. We felt their pricing was reasonable (not cheap) and worth the work (professional pricing for professional work). I also appreciate that they dont charge extra for weekend, night, or holiday work so we were able to "finish" our bathroom remodel in a weekend! I know who Im going to call the next time we have a non-home-warranty-covered plumbing issue... Roto-Rooter!

The plumber that came out to help us was Shawn. I am a do it yourself kind of guy and have fixed a number of problems with the plumbing myself, but when the water was coming out the cleanout and I needed a professional opinion I called roto-rooter for just that. I just wanted a pro to confirm my suspicion as to where the clog was, but I got a whole lot more. Shawn showed up on time for the appointment I made the day before... 5:30 - 6:00 and working in the service industry I know how hard it is to hit nthat window. He listened to everything I had done to narrow down where the issue of the clog was and then he did his own trobleshooting. I really appreciated him showing me what he was doing and taking his time with making sure things were understandable and was working to help me make a decision. He ended up snaking the drain with the electric snake and I was glad he did it because now I know there clear. not only did I see him do the work and had a good understanding of what was going on, but then he showed me every inch of the line with his digital plumber camera that went into the pipe. WOW...what a great job Shawn did and he educated me along the way. I have had roto-rooter do work for me on another home I owned and it seems like every one of my experiences has been a good one. Thanks again for honest work at a resonable price.

EDIT: Roto Rooter called back first thing in the morning, and was very kind enough to offer me a discount back on the service that was provided. Person on call was very professional and cared very much about the quality work I received. Thank you very much for working with us. And I appreciate the excellent service you provide!! Had to call service three times. First time the worker was kind enough to offer me a discount for being late, which was much appreciated. Second time was very disappointing. Worker who stopped by seemed very young and didnt seem very knowledgeable. The small food clog in the kitchen that couldve been resolved the same day was not because this young man figured "theres ice in the main drain line." Well it turns out that wasnt the case. After "waiting for the ice to thaw out"(in which it didnt because there werent any), I had to make the third call. Again, a different worker. He was very professional and got the job done quick. But he did NOT offer any discount for an inconvenience fee from the second worker who stopped by. I would rate the company 5/5 if it werent for the second worker leaving the job undone.
