I am writing this review to prevent any future customer from the horrible experience I had here. Do not have Sarah do color for any reason. I went in asking for a few dark red highlights - I brought pictures and was very agreeable. She proceeded to bleach my hair blond, I expressed my concern when the foil came off and was then bullied into accepting the new hair color. To be agreeable, I said that I would sleep on it. I came back the next day to have my hair color fixed. Not only had my hair been bleached, but the color had run along my scalp creating nasty blotched lines. Still I had confidence that Sarah could fix it. She proceeded to "fix" my hair, becoming very irate and angry. She bleached my hair even further, then dumped red dye all over my head taking away all of my natural color. My hair was bright orange. I had dye dripping down my face and neck staining my skin. She scrubbed my scalp so furiously it was bleeding when I got home, burning from all the chemicals. On top of all of this, she refused to even comb my hair. Leaving me with dripping wet hair, covered in red dye, with a bloody scalp. She offered no apology and just told me simply she couldnt be there all night to fix it. Whatever you do DO NOT go to this establishment or you will regret it.

I usually go to another place and my cutter was not available. Since I was in a rush and happened to be close to this Hair Cuttery, I decided to save some money and stop here. I have had my hair cut at Hair Cutterys before, and its always a disaster, but I decided to sacrifice and give it another chance. BIG MISTAKE! I had Lilly cut my hair. I walked in and straight to her chair. I asked for a fade and texture. Well, I sat down in no more than 3 minutes she finished the fade. The top took about 3 minutes as well and no more than 15 chops. I know Hair Cuttery is quantity over quality, but damn they just either dont care or dont have a sense of style or most likely both. Everyone at work is telling me how my hair is messed up in various ways. Im pondering just shaving my head now. Please dont do it to yourself and if you take the time to read this before going here, DON"T GO HERE!

I am new to the neighborhood, had good experience with Hair Cuttery in Virginia so took my daughter (home from college) for a haircut. There were two ladies cutting,; Sarah, who had many appointments and all her clients came out looking excellently groomed, and a young girl- dont know her name. She was supposerd to layer my daughters long blond hair, but instead she cut the hair straight at shoulder level and then straight on her back. She also hadnt rinsed the hair properly so it was all sticky on her scalp. I decided not to have a hair cut there and went to Zohras round the corner instead, excellent job by Cindy who also managed to repair the damage done to my daughters hair. So if you go to Hair Cuttery, ask for Sarah or another qualified lady and you will get value for money.

I told the person who cut my hair to make it shoulder length and to put in layers. She cut it straight and its 2 inches too short. It looks like a pyramid. If you dont know how to cut curly hair then dont say you do and ruin someones hair. I cant correct it for at least another 2 months. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! I keep looking at it in the mirror and feel like crying. Its just bad.
