I seriously wish there was a choice to pic NO stars or NEGITIVE stars!!! This was the absolute WORST expereience EVER! I am A licenced cosmetologist myself. I was in a rush to get my hair cut because my birthday was 2 days later and i had just learned of the reservations my boyfriend had made at the dobbin house in gettysburg. I needed my hair cut really bad!! I had learned a lot of good things about this great clips! so i stopped on my way home. The manager cut my hair!~ she was not worried about me at all she was worried about sending her empolyees home early because they didnt have any business!!!! (that should of been my first clue) So fianlly when she decided to talk to me i asked her how long she had been cutting hair, her responce was 17 years i told her that i did hari for a while at a regis salon, she told me that she used to be a manager there which made me feel a little mroe comfortable! i have cury hair so obviously she doesnt care if there are a few flaws because peopel with curly hair cant notice it!!!!! well i flat ironed my hair the next day to find my hair was a 1/2 in longer on the rightside, and "STRAIGHT" across in the back with VERY choppy and horriable layers they were not even blended to the bottom!!! there was a HUGE chunk missing out of the right side of my hair, and i was NOT happy. I called their cooporate number the next day and was told they would contact the owner and have him call me. The assistant manager called me and told me to come in and she would look at it for me i REFUSED to let anyone touch my hair with shears or a razor! so she checked it and tried to talk me into letting her fix it! NO i would not let that happen. she told me that i would be getting a call from the salon owner with in the next 24 hours to get a CASH refund! I left, a week later still have not heard anything so i called her back. she said im sorry i will contact him again! i then recieved a call from the MANAGER that cut my har saying that i would be recieveing a check in the mail (she got my address wrong) by the end of JUNE mind you, i got my hair cut on may 2nd!!!!!!! i called corporate again because at this point i am NOT happy only to have corporate tell me to bad so sad theres nothing they can do for me! FINALLY a month later i am recieving a call from someone from great clips! to be told we DO NOT give refunds so your lucky your getting that, i told him that that wasnt fair to the customer who had her hair messed up, he told me that if they mess up they need to be given the chance to fix it. Im sorry but they messed my hair up big TIME! WHYYYY would i let them touch my hair again?!?!?!?!?!??! then he told me " unless you have worked in a salon before you wouldnt understand why we have these policys" and just argues with me on the phone... great professionalism BUDDY!!!! IM SORRY SIR!! i did work in a salon!!! for 2 years! and yeah we gave cash refunds if we messed up and it was evident because WE MESSED UP thats how you " 100% gaurentee" your customers! Worst place ever WILLL NOT RETURN and i will make sure none of my friends do either

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I needed to get a haircut today because I had an employee event to attend. I made the exceptionally poor decision to have it done at "Great" Clips. I told the woman I was trying to grow my hair out. I told her I wanted it cleaned up. She cut nearly all the hair from the top of my head and left the back looking like Mcguyver. I guess she thought for some insane reason that in 2015, I wanted a mullet. I told her the back looked bad (I should have just left at this point). She asked if I would like it clippered and I said yes because I assumed (wrongfully) that she would use the clippers to shape it. Instead, my remaining hair was removed all the way around. It took me nearly 7 months to get my hair to that length and she scalped me in under 10 minutes. DO NOT GO HERE!!! The only mens cut they know is the one you get upon entering basic training for the Armed Forces. I hope the one who cut me today is fired (Bleach blonde that wore white). I will never be back and neither will anyone I know. Also, I plan on handing out coupons for their competitors. I work for a large company with thousands of customers. Hopefully I can ruin their bottom line in a way that balances the way she ruined my hair.

Been going here for years and never had a problem. Noticed when I first walked in, there was a new guy there, and of course I got him. He never wet down my hair to cut it. With dry hair and trying to comb it up, it kept getting stuck and pulling. I could deal with that a bit. In my opinion, it didnt allow him to correctly cut my hair. Bangs werent touched, not much taken off at all. My girlfriend never cut hair before and I trusted her BC it wasnt going to get any worse. The best part is, when paying the $14. I got a 5 and a 1 back, I put the 5 down and asked for 5 ones. He was too busy taking the 5 and thanking me, he never heard me ask. So needless to say I just gave a $5 tip for a haircut I shouldve only paid $5 for!! They lost my business

Should be called quick cuts. I mean really in less than 10-15 min we were in and out. The older lady cut me while the younger ladies did my 2 sons(2,4). I paid $33 (i felt bad leaving $7 for them all to share but instead of the leader getting the hint she got a attitude) and i asked 3 times to fix mine and i got tired of asking. Very short and really not sweet. I could have done a better job with my daul clippers at home or bought a new pair. She didnt fade or barely clip my top down., Which was my ultimate goal. I never felt so rushed during a haircut especially when noone was there. Dont go here unless you just need he hair around your ears cut. Sorry to have to say

I have been doing hair for going on nine years and have been working for gc for going on four. I absolutely love my job there! I make good money and have an amazing group of girls to work with. And Our haircuts are a good price. Best salon I ever worked at and I wouldnt want to work for any other salon. Got to know a lot of awesome people and some I even now can call my friends. Really happy to have a job where I can help people feel better about themselves.

Enjoy checking in on my phone. Thats the only positive unless you want a bowl cut. Didnt want to be in around that place anymore so i just accepted my awful haircut, put on a hat and went home and finished it myself. Was a great place, but last two times SUCKED. Wont be back for a while, if ever.
