I called Cary because I had a GFCI outlet that was giving me problems. It kept tripping and, as a result, wouldnt function. Cary was very nice on the phone. I called on a Saturday morning, when a lot of electrician companies are closed. He asked a few questions and told me that I needed to reset the GFCI in order for the outlet to work. I kept pushing the GFCI button and it wouldnt work. I decided to take the outlet apart and replace it with a new GFCI. Unfortunately it still didnt work. So, I called Cary again and he came out. Everything went fine for the most part, although it seemed as though he was a little unprepared. He didnt have his drill with him and he was asked to borrow mine, for example. He also tried to talk to me about politics, which was a little uncomfortable. The only real problem I had was that he removed about an inch or so of the wall around the bottom and right side of outlet box while he was working with the wires. As a result, I had to disconnect everything after he left, patch the area, and then reconnect everything again. As a conclusion, Cary was successful at wiring the outlet and switch. For some unknown reason, however, the GFCI tripped again about an hour after he left and before I started repairing the wall. I called Cary again and he told me to reset it. It worked until I had to take it apart to fix the wall. In the end, I just decided to remove the GFCI and replace it with a normal outlet.

We consulted Cary about a heavy-up and moving the service entrance cable for the house. Cary completed the work in a reasonable time at a fair price which included getting a permit from the county and coordinating with Pepco. He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain what he was doing. I would feel confident in having Cary work on any future electrical work.

We called Cary Electric on the recommendation of a neighbor. So glad we did. He took care of our problems in a timely manner, at a reasonable price. He even went out of his way to repair the hole in the wall so we did not have to call in a carpenter, at no extra cost...never had an electrician do that before. He is the only electrician we will ever call.

Even not worth giving him a star. I had to call him to fix my outlets last week. We had an appointment today but he didnt show up. I called him and left a voice msg and even emailed him. He has not replied to me by any means.
