I took my daughter to Tease Hair Salon for application of the Nano Sleek Keratin treatment, that was supposed to temporary relax the natural black hair. She was informed that the treatment would last through 8 to 12 washes. Unfortunately, the treatment did not survive the first wash and the hair was back to its pre-treated form. It was not cheap procedure, so I was disappointed. My daughter called the salon’s owner and asked if she could have a "full" perm three weeks after the unsuccessful application of the Nano Sleek. The owner contacted the manufacturer of the product and advised us that it was safe for her to get a full perm. We went back to Tease Salon, and the stylist (same stylist who applied the Nano Sleek) proceeded to do a "touch-up". I re-informed her that the Nano Sleek treatment did not work, that the hair may appear straight because it was flat ironed, and that she now needs a full perm. After the shampoo, which removed the perm, the hair was of 2 textures - straight at the crown and the end remains unprocessed. This stylist told me she would flat iron the hair and that it would look good when she is finish. It is obvious that the stylist did not listen. My daughter explained that she wanted a “full” perm to eliminate the constant use of the flat-iron. I reinforced that request when I noticed that she was treating the process as a “touch-up”; however, she continued to do a “touch-up” and then got upset when I complained and asked that the hair be fixed. She got defensive and argued that she wants to preserve the integrity of the hair. She did a “half and half” that would require continuous application of heat (the main reason for the perm) and then she tried to justify her action. Incredible and Arrogant! It was also frustrating that the salon’s owner expressed to my daughter that I was unreasonable for demanding that another stylist takes over. This demand was made after it was obvious that the marker the stylist made between the processed and unprocessed hair was flawed and the result would be – straight at the root, curly in the middle, and straight at the end. This was, by far, my most frustrating trip to a hair salon. I highly recommend that you stay away from this salon.

Honestly if you want long lasting real virgin hair DONT COME HERE the customer service is not that great and the virgin hair is not so virgin. The first time I ordered from here the closure shed like a dog and when I bleached the hair and dyed it, it became hard, matte and tangled very badly. After a year I decided to give them another try because I really liked the hair texture of the natural wave when I first bought it. I came in and the lady in the front wasnt very pleasant but I bought the hair anyway in a lose wave and it hasnt been up to TWO WEEKS and this hair SHEDS, TANGLES, MATTES. Ive sealed the knots deep conditioned, and put in leave in conditioner and the hair is JUST BAD QUALITY... Good luck to anyone who gets hair from here as for me I Will Never in My life come back here or recommend this place to ANYONE

So far Ive gone a few times an each time I left my hair was fabulous. The shop is pleasant ans usually whenever a client walks in they are greeted or knowledge by a staff member. The shop is clean and orderly. The owner, Ula sells weave hair and it is by far the best hair I have used. The quality is well worth the trip. My stylist Jen is remarkable. Ive sent some of my friends and were extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend Tease for the hair and Jen the stylist.

I love it!!! I get my hair done by Jen and its the best salon Ive been hands down.I have not been to any other stylist but theses chicks seem to have their routine down packed...when it comes to the hair for weave installation it might be a little pricey but if you paid less you get less.Overall never have been disrespected always have had it come out looking good for a full year now..

Im new to the DMV area and was nervous about trying a new stylist. I have a short natural cut, which has to be done a certain way to fit my face and head. Not only did Nanci cut and shape me up exquisitely, but she new to wet it after to bring the curls back in and rubbed in some lovely smelling product. Im so happy and relieved. I found my stylist! I would never go back to this salon. I Got a weave installed with a three part closure & the closure wasnt even how I wanted it & I didnt even have my weave in for two weeks before my tracks started coming out. $220 down the drain for bullshit.
