The day before visiting Salon Zoma, I had gone to another Aveda salon in the area and had a miserable experience and haircut. After crying and convincing myself that I would have to walk with my head at an angle to make my hair cut look straight, I called Salon Zoma and explained the situation. They were able to fit me in for that afternoon and I was SO pleased with the results. The stylist (Pui Chan) listened to what I thought was wrong with my current hair cut and not only saved it, but somehow managed to make it look longer than it did before! Ive been a loyal Aveda customer for years and this salon matched my expectations for an Aveda salon much more so than their local competitor. In addition to being clean and quiet, the staff members were very kind and professional. I will certainly be returning here for hair needs in the future.

I went there this past Friday and had my hair colored and cut. I had my greys covered with a very saturated brown, which is what I have always done in the past. I washed my hair on Sunday morning and it dried before I went to sleep. I always shampoo twice, and condition once when I wash my hair. I washed my hair on Tuesday evening and went to sleep with my hair wet. When I woke up Wednesday morning, my expensive white pillowcase was splotched with brown. The dye had come off all over my pillowcase and had even leaked through to the pillow protector. When I called the salon to complain they said that this happens sometimes and theres nothing they can do about it. I wont be returning and neither should you if you expect your hair color to remain on your hair and off your linens.

Id gotten a chop last week at another salon, and while it looked great, I felt the back was too long. I thought I could live with it, but 24 hours before my move back to the midwest, I decided something had to be done. I called Salon Zoma hoping for a quick fix, and I got so much more! Christina got me in within the hour (I was so lucky she was available!) and she did a fantastic job shaping my hair. It was no easy task, as my hair is thin & every layer shows, but she blended it beautifully. Even though Id rushed in at 6:15pm on a Thursday, she never made me feel anything less than welcome. Ill definitely be returning during my DC business trips.

Ive been getting my hair styled, treated, and cut by Gianne at Salon Zoma since theyve opened. Actually, I was seeing Gianne since 2008 and happily switched to Salon Zoma when she moved (shes worth it). Ive also recommended Gianne to a number of my friends with all different hair textures and styles. Salon Zoma is beautifully decorated, clean, with a staff that understands outstanding customer service. I am amazed that the prices are so reasonable for a salon with such great service and standards not to mention its prime location!

Gianne is a gem! She gives the best shampoo massages and can make your eyebrows look good too. The products at the salon are great! She has maintained my hair when it was long and curly and has cut and styled it short as well. Having naturally wavy and curly hair is a task and Gianne manages it well. She also styles and cuts my daughters hair, which is curly, but very different from mine. I have recommended friends to her in the past and they love her as well.

I have been going to Salon Zoma since they have opened. The owner Faskia is great! I have naturally curly hair and I find it hard to find a stylist who can blow dry and flat iron my hair well. Fasika takes her time and makes sure that it is straight. I always get complements on my hair and have recommended the salon to a number of friends.

I am a client of Gianne. She does excellent short hair and all types of hair. I have natural wavy hair and she can really get my hair super straight. I enjoy coming to this salon and the other ladies at Salon Zoma are also professional and friendly. 5 STAR CHICK type of salon! ;)

I have been going to Salon Zoma for a few years and I love it. The hairdressers are nice and all are good, the owner is wonderful and the prices are reasonable for Aveda. I see Christina for hair color and highlights and would definitely recommend her. She does a great job!

I have been going to Salon Zoma since they opened. The service is excellent, and you dont have to wait long. My stylist Gianne is the best Ive ever had in my entire life. I definitely recommend this salon to everyone, women, men, children, young and old!

Gianne is my stylist and she handles my hair with great care. I faithfully see her, and have been with her since her days at Bubbles in Wheaton. She keeps her schedule and if anything is cancelled, I am notified. Definitely check her out.

Gianne had been twisting my hair for the past 2 years, and she is the most skilled person i have ever had do my hair since I started my locs 7 years ago. I will be getting my hair twisted by her for the rest of my life. shes amazing.
