Dont be mistaken by the Beauty Saloon title - most of the clientele are males of all ages. The senior/seasoned staff are Mariabelle (Mrs Proprietor), Jose and Ruddy (in order of decreasing English language proficiency) and all very pleasant and courteous, (Andrea is on mat-leave). Mr Proprietor is generally always present and smiling and keeping the place tidy. The place has privacy - it is not on street level, so peepers cant see you being "styled" or fussed over; super clean; you can fix an appointment ahead of time. It used to be open on Sundays (which attracted me) not any more. Never mind the language issue, Ruddy gives me a great head and face often whilst listening to philosophy pod casts on his phone (it was Plato on the airwaves one weekday, when business was very slow). The only have one TV, not so blaring with Latin day time soaps. The clientele is not at all riff-rafish. Prices are decent altho somewhat inconsistent in case of a head and face situation. I have no idea of how good their other services are (eg, coloring).
