Unethical scam artists. STAY AWAY! Went in with a cracked muffler/exhaust pipe. While in there, the mechanic had the car on the lift and said both struts also needed to be replaced because the front right strut was leaking. When I told him the quote seemed high, he told me "I could afford it because I was wearing nice sneakers and had a nice watch". I declined service on the struts and muffler after that comment. Took the car to a reputable mechanic and they told me THE MECHANIC AT MIDAS SPRAYED MY STRUT WITH MOTOR OIL TO LOOK LIKE IT WAS LEAKING. He wiped it clean and watched it for 2 hours after realizing the liquid they sprayed was above the strut instead of below it, where it would have dripped down to if there was an actual leak. In my opinion, thats straight criminal behavior on behalf of Midas. Ended up getting the muffler repaired for $140 instead of the $440 midas quoted for the muffler and $850 they quoted for struts. I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE TO AVOID MIDAS IN WESTMINSTER AT ALL COSTS!

Avoid this place at all costs. I went here for an oil change and immediately afterwards my cruise control stopped functioning, and my engine would not start properly. Obviously, neither of those problems generally is affected by an oil change, and the man I spoke with talked over me to assert as much repeatedly. He told me to bring it in to see what might have been affected, and then offered to fix the problem, for a fee, of course. I told him I would be avoiding them in the future. Long story short, they will deliberately break things on your car in an attempt to get you to pay more money. All too common in this business, they are swindlers.

Went there for a routine oil change. When we picked the car up, the driver side door handle was broken off. When we asked them what happened, they replied saying that it is an old car and could have happened to anybody at any time. You would think they would have repaired it for free...but NO!!! They offered to fix it at a discounted price. So in short...they broke our door handle and didnt fix it!!! Who does that!?!?!?! Never go to Midas!!!

I have been going to this garage for several years. They have consistently treated me well, they explained the issues I have had with my vehicle every time and eve lifted up the vehicle to show me, not only what the issue was but also where to buy the replacement part and how to best install it myself. I would highly recommend them.

Took my car in for an oil change they told me it needed an exhaust and 2000$ more in repairs and theyd buy it for 400$ haha. I drove my car for another 3 years after that. Never had issues with any of the things that were mentioned. Never taking my car here

I made an APPOINTMENT for 7:30 in the morning for two tires and a front end alignment. At 4:00PM, my truck still wasnt ready! Thats ridiculous. I know Im not the only customer, but an appointment was made ahead of time!

Mechanics will honestly tell you whats wrong with your Car or SUV and will give you an estimate on the cost. Ive never been disappointed.

DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Theyll work on your car, but youll have something else wrong with it when you leave. Trust the reviews.
