I have met some nice people in store who have helped me out however that being said they are terrible at delivering mail. The delivery guy only leaves a note for packages once out of every three times he visits and not only that doesnt even attempt to buzz my apartment or anything. He would rather just fill out a form saying I missed the delivery even though I would be home. I technically have "missed" probably over 15 packages in 9 months of living here. I have dealt with other post offices in America (cities and rural areas) and the Allston location is the worst service ever. When I finally had enough (today after "missing" two packages) and called the store and ,the guy I talked to attempted to argue with me. I started the conversation very nice and polite and just wanted the manager know that the delivery guy has made me missed several packages and he just kept asking me "what do you want me to do about it?". Seriously they are terrible and I already spoke to my relatives and Amazon that if possible use all other delivery services besides USPS. The only reason I gave them a one is because zero is not an option.

I will not say bad things about every person who works in that post office 02134. First time I was their I "worked" with a lady and she was very nice and helpful!!! Just positive memory. Today I spoke to PETER ( Asian guy ) and it was horrible !!! Totally useless!!! He did not even listen my question. He was just speaking and speaking and speaking and speaking............ And finally he blamed ME that they have a huge line!!!!!!!!!!! When I ask to see a supervisor, I was told that she just left and no hope for me to see her today!!!! And another girl waited for 15 min ( it is just from a time when I arrived) for a lady to find her package in a total mess in a boxing area. Is this the way post office work today?! I hope it is just my bad experience! Good luck every one!!!

Well, I ordered some special presents for Thanksgiving well before Thanksgiving. When I called the store today which is the Friday after Thanksgiving they say that somebody tried to deliver it on the 22nd Im handicapped Im home all night. There was no no note telling me what to do or that they had tried so we didnt get our special little treats. According to the tracking are treated been in town since last week and if I had gotten any kind of notification or stay a try to redeliver at that wouldve been nice but it didnt happen. Again Im disabled and really dont leave the house often so I know that nobody came.

It is my first time to send mail in the United States and it impresses me in every ways. The clerks help me to send two very large parcels. I didnt put them in any box at the first place and I want to send those two large box altogether. Furthermore, my parcels are larger than the biggest box they have. But they can help me solve the problem intelligently. I thought that I had to go back home to wrap things up and come back again but I didnt have to. Maybe it is exaggerated but they are all friendly and help me like I am their close friend. Especially, the gentleman name Peter, I thank him.

I personally love all the women who work here. Theyre always very sweet and helpful, but then again I ship packages nearly every week, so they see me often enough. I cant say I have good reviews for their mailmen, as my packages NEVER make it to the correct door / drop-off point in my building (there are 5 different doors for a 3-building attachment, with different apartments and mailboxes through each door), and I always have to go searching around the entrances multiple times a day if Im expecting a package, just so it doesnt get stolen.

I am an Etsy seller who had an issue with a package sent to a customer- I called the destination post office and they were incredibly helpful, rectified the situation, and took the time to even find the package and confirm the information while I was on the phone. After 13 years of business and significant shipping business with USPS, I know it could have gone far worse, and I could have been treated very poorly. I was incredibly grateful for the professional and honest service I received from this PO and Joe C. who assisted me on the phone.

I am pretty certain that someone at this post office has been stealing. During Christmas, some Christmas presents made it to the Allston post office (according to the tracking information) but were never delivered and we never received a notification that they were waiting to be picked up. They entered the post office and disappeared. This week, I received a birthday card that had been opened and taped back shut. The money that was in it had been stolen.

Had the worst experience ever. The staff is unhelpful and rude. I remember dealing with Peter and he was the worst. He was rude and had no idea what he was talking about but went on and on. When I tried to explain my situation, he said, "dont fight us!" Huh?! What does that even mean? I was not fighting. I was just trying to explain my situation and get his advice. He should be given a good training in customer service or simply retire.

Terrible delivery people wont even attempt to deliver packages. It was raining out so instead of even ringing the buzzer and letting us came down he just wrote a "attempted delivery" slip and left. I then called the store to see if there is anyway he could bring it back because I HAVE BEEN IN MY APARTMENT ALL DAY AND I KNOW HE DIDNT RING UP and they were so rude. I have informed Amazon that if AT ALL possible to deliver any other way.

Wow, I called to ask about a package and they act like I know the inner workings of how they deliver things. Exaggerated sighs, emphasizing "sir" like he did not actually mean it and meant to say something negative, condescending tone... How have they not replaced these people yet? Look at the many many reviews... Oh and by the way the call ended with them telling me I was not allowed to pickup my package even though they have it...

I just received my honorable discharge paperwork from the Army, recognizing my nine years of service. My discharge certificate was crumpled and stuffed into my mail slot, effectively ruining a document that I worked very hard (and risked my life multiple times) to earn. Is this how you honor fellow federal servants? Meanwhile, the US Postal service wonders why more customers and businesses are switching to private carriers.

Attention to service is a priority and delivery service has improved. With lots of students coming and going and the number of packages (books) they order delivery is a challenge sometimes but they do what is possible to get them to the customers asap. Phone calls are answered within three rings when possible. Clerks are friendly and helpful but with alot of internationl mailings it sometimes takes time to get in and out.

These losers cant run up a flight to deliver a requested sugniture package. Instead, they leave a notification slip in your box with which one has to go and mindfuk themselves at the store and wait for the lost people who work there to find the package you need. Despite the fact that a signiture requested delivery costs more and is meant to serve its unique purpose. Bring me my packages .........!!!!!
