I have used this post office for 10 years. Most of the behind the counter postal clerks are helpful and competent, and some friendly with Belmonters they know well. Unfortunately the package delivery service is terrible - at least to my house, which is close to the P.O. Over two years, 3 packages have never fetched up even though P.O. records say "delivered". No less than 5 packages belonging to other people were delivered to me, including one poor persons medicines, in a box I accidentally opened, thinking it was mine. I have patiently visited the P.O. THREE TIMES, each time spoke to the delivery supervisor, usually after a wait, and returned the other folks packages - to no avail, nothing has improved. Today I asked the delivery person about the latest missing package - politely and cordially - and was amazed to find her aggressive and hostile, denying that anything was lost, and yelling "so why dont you just go ahead and complain like youve been doing, HANH?!!!", On top of all the hassle with the missing and mis-delivered packages. this is really too much. Its a shame this one continuing problem, and this one workers attitude,gives all the good P.O. workers and this otherwise decent post office a bad name.

I recently had an issue with the shipping address on a package. While tracking it, I noticed that it was at the Belmont Post Office. I worked with Tom to locate the package and resolve the issue. He was so helpful and friendly. He even ended up making sure my package arrived the next day. Thanks Tom!

I have used this P.O. for 40 years. There is rarely a line. There are often 2 to 3 clerks behind the counter. They know what theyre doing and they are friendly and courteous. Compared to P.O. branches in other towns and other states, this US Post Office stands out as excellent.
