Im giving this business 2 stars. The service was completed on time and the mechanic that brought my car out to me was very courteous, even taking the time to explain how inspection monitors work. The waiting area is lovely and comfortable with free wifi. They even have a playroom with toys if you need to bring children. Not that Id bring children into this place, not now. I sat in the waiting room and listened to the man (no names) behind the service desk spewing the most vitriolic hate I think Ive ever heard. Ranting about how the world is about to end or how minorites will probably be summarily executed. This behavior in no way belongs in a place where children may be. I gather from the things he was saying that we both voted for the same political candidate. Rather than vomiting the most bilious rhetoric at anyone that comes within earshot, I plan to work towards preserving my ideals as much as possible and HOPING our new president does a good job at governing. This isnt a real name. Due to circumstances, I happen to be forced to return there for service for the time being and this man seems petty and probably revenge-minded. Once my current issues are taken care of, I and the rest of my family will be looking for another reliable service place until this man is either replaced or reprimanded. After which, I WILL be returning because without this issue I would be awarding 5 stars to Pleasant Auto Center.

Terrible experience. They dont understand "business" and common sense. I went there to see if they could fix my exhaust leak. I was hoping they could weld it back up but they determined that was not possible which is completely fine. Where the experience went south was when they charged me $30 for " checking it" and determining the problem-the problem I stated when I came in ( "theres a hole in my exhaust and I am looking to see if you guys could weld it up"). I should of never even went into this place- what was the point? For them they had to be a leach and suck that money out of me yet they solved/offered me SQAUT. I probably should of gotten an oil change from them because I would of gotten the oil change PLUS the " hey so you need a new exhaust pipe"- the same result and price probably. I wonder if I had gotten the fix from them if theyd deduct the $30 fee to check it because what place charges you a " check it" cost plus the parts and labor cost? So my question to the business is what kind of value did I receive for my $30 because I went to a Speedee in north Attleboro and the shell down the street and they gave me estimates and checked it for free because they understand what a customer is....especially in the auto repair industry where customer loyalty is higher than most industries. Please stop being leaches. Thanks

Im disappointed to say that I had high hopes for this auto shop because the location and lobby are very convenient. However, twice now over the few times Ive been there, my car left with more damage then when I took it in. This last time I went in for an oil change and got sent home with a cracked oil pan only to discover substantial oil leaking all over my driveway a few days later. When I went back in, I was told that this crack was due to "normal wear" and that this "was typical for an Acura". I was then quoted $500 to repair the damage. I left to go to another shop (an hour away, but people I trust). My primary mechanic told me the damage was caused by careless handling of the pan during an oil change and not any "normal wear". He even called Pleasant Auto to give them an opportunity to take responsibility and fix their damage. We were told, "sorry, that car has 100,000 miles... these things happen during an oil change". Well, Ive driven an Acura for a decade and this is a first. I find these employees to be careless and unethical. I WILL NOT go here again and I caution you to not fall into their trap to make money.

Amazing local family owned auto center. I have had nothing but wonderful interactions with the entire staff and our family has been using them for years. I used them as a second opinion after my dealership suggested thousands of dollars of work. They told me what was essential and what was not needed. They have a cute sitting area and free wifi that is great for getting some work done while my car is being tended to. On a few occasions I have brought my little daughters and they have a nice little play area for them while we waited. I would recommend them in a second!

Went in yesterday (12/9/16) to get regular service (check belts, filters, and would have been oil change but Id already gotten that done so I specifically said not to do that). What I got instead was an estimate for repairs that came to $650 for, I kid you not, replacing spark plugs and two air filters. They also recommended I change (at an additional $700 cost) the tires Id had replaced less than a year ago. But on the plus side they did change the oil that I told them not to. In short, I would not recommend this company and Id suggest you look elsewhere.

No stars unproffesional rude service , i went in for an inspection sticker when i showed up my brake light wasnt on and as i recently checked my parking brake was working just fine. I waited for about 45 mins which is exceptionally long For an inpection and when they brought my car back they said my parking brake broken. So i pay and leave and my brake light is now on and my car wont stop beeping i cant even drive the car now and it drove just fine before i brought it in. crook mechanics. never go here

Classic crook mechanics. Weve taken our cars there for various services (oil changes/inspection stickers)-- whatever it is theyll try to upsell you on other issues. There are so many other options for service close by; do yourself a favor and do not visit this mechanic. Also, terrible WiFi and all the snacks are past due.

Very friendly staff! We are regulars here. The owners are always happy to greet us and they know our names. Never had an issue with service at all. Great service! No worries! We put our trust in them that our cars are safe and they truly care about our safety.
