I had been to a couple of other shops over the years and was not impressed with the quality of the work. One in particular that touted itself as a high end establishment for a major car conglomerate did work that was exceptionally poor, but claimed it was done to "accepted industry standards" and therefore, I was unreasonable for not agreeing with them. I cannot accept that one side of the car doesnt look like the other side and that there were mismatches of 1/4" between adjacent panels that were supposed to fit perfectly flush. Considering they were paid handsomely by my insurance company with 2 additional supplements it should have looked a lot better. On the other hand, Fran Fistori was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He explained everything thoroughly and understood what my concerns were. Mike Hardy was also very professional and both of them kept me apprised on the progress of the work being done. I truly feel that they went the extra mile for me to be sure that I would be satisfied with my repair. I actually had them do over the work that was done at the other shop and I dont think it could be more perfect. I really like this car and the fit, the workmanship, as well as paint finish are absolutely amazing. I admit, I have a discerning eye, but I also know what a body shop that is truly skilled at their craft is capable of. At Modern Auto Body they dont make excuses--they only make satisfied, happy customers.

I had my car repaired at Modern Auto in Brockton about a year ago. Rear end accident. When I received my car it was nice and shiny and I thought this was as a great place. Beware!!. Almost a year later I took my car in for inspection and it failed. Modern auto used the same punctured muffler and exhaust, how would I have known. They even cut and welded my exhaust to the point it would cost over a thousand out of pocket to replace. I totally advise you after any repairs to get your car/truck inspected by another repair shop asap. This place is a total rip off (charged my insurance and reused busted parts). You will thank me later If you listen to this warning. Go somewhere else. I would rate this lower but I cant. Im currently paying out my @ss to replace the hack job this place has done to my car : new muffler, exhaust pipes, muffler tips all ruined.

I was recently in an accident, and the insurance place I was dealing with told me to take my car to Modern Auto Body. Even though the location isnt great, the shop is! The staff was very kind, and extremely accomodating to my schedule. They assessed the damage to my van within an hour of my call, and brought it in to be fixed quickly. It went in on a Monday, and even though it had fairly significant damage - it was done by Wednesday afternoon. It looks as good as new, and they even cleaned it, so it is spotless inside and out! I would recommend Modern Auto Body to anyone!

Modern Auto Body is a great place to take your car for damage/repairs. It is also recommended by a few Insurance agencies as a trusted repair shop, in the sene that you get what you pay for and wont be overcharged an hourly rate. I had significant damage to the front end of my car in a recent car accident. I dropped my car off on a Monday and I picked it up on a Friday. Looked and ran good as new! A few family members have also recommended this place as well. Dont be fooled by its "ghetto" location, its a great place.

Took My Mitsubishi Galant in after a hit and run. Was done after a few days, had a few minor things unfinished. Great Customer Service from manager Mike and office staff at getting the minor issues that were missed fixed in a very timely manner with my schedule in mind. My car looks Awesome. Couldnt be happier with the Quality repairs done to my car. Definately this place lives up to its great local reputation!
