Athletic clubs in New Bedford need to be clean. Over many years in clubs in this area, housekeeping has been the biggest problem. Planet Fitness in Dartmouth is no exception. I dont have to describe it...anyone can walk in and see. What I see day after day are things on the floor that are there over a several day period. Yes, I pick them up and throw away. But Im not just complaining, I offer a solution> Now that there are more members...it appears..more staff has to be more aggressive about vacuuming and washing. The manager has to delegate specific people to do those jobs. Members appear to do their part, spritizing and wiping. Half the time..50%...one has to walk to several paper dispensers to find one that has paper in it. That isnt rocket science. Too picky? No, its just business...we can go elsewhere.

To my planet fitness status. I enjoy being at the gym a lot.My favorite thing about the gym is the staff. They make me feel not just another member of a building facility but a part of a family. Alain, Angela, and Marc are very friendly and even when I dont want to work out they motivate me to just get the job done. To walk in and just here my name called out because of the atmosphere developed from the staff is extremely comforting. I have been a member for three years and I have tried joining other gyms but to be honest I cant seem to find a better place than this place. So all in all just love this place and coming here is fun. I forgot to mention the new up and coming staff like Tyler and Alyssa who though have just started a while ago have the same unique qualities as the seasoned veterans.

Couldnt be more happier with this gym! Very impressed with how clean everything is, including locker room, bathroom and showers. Staff is very nice and always answer any questions I have. Was very leary about joining a gym again because in the past I found most gyms dirty but not this place! Definitely worth the $20 a month (black card member) and more! Best place to go to escape reality for a little while and get an awesome workout at the same time!

sadly my experience was not a good 1 staff was good general manager terrible attitude asked her for owner of franchise was trying to ask about a product line he may be interested him instead of his email a was stonewalled by his general manager with a large side order of bad attitude i would tell anyone to stay far away from planet fitness remember their slogan we are not a gym we are planet fitness yeah you can say that again your not a gym

Very clean and friendly staff. Gym needs proper squat rack for safety. Personal training is a joke. Hell stop to chat with an attractive women while passing patrons who need help. Routinly walks past people using terrible form and to much weight which could lead to a major injury. Then again i dont believe he has much knowledge about resistance training so maybe he doesnt know its wrong or dangerous. Step up John, start being a trainer!!!

This gym is the worst ever. All they do is take your money after you cancel your membership and will NOT refund it to you! Have been trying for 3 months and all I get is the run around, I wish this place would shut down its a useless waste of space. The owner has no sense on how to run a business and shouldnt be in business. Not even worth the one star

I am a member of this facility. Im totally a Planet Fitness fan but this location is not my favorite. Its weird how you have to get into the parking lot, and inside the set up is odd. Wish it were bigger. But overall clean facility, ample equipment but tad dated. Friendly staff, especially James who signed me up. I prefer Fairhaven location.

It was the first time John Beauchemin and I visited this Planet Fitness. The staff, including Heather, was very friendly and helpful and made our unexpected visit special. It was not busy at all and it was very easy to use the equipment we wanted and leave. Thanks guys!:)

My experience at Planet fitness has been wonderful. The atmosphere is amazing. I absolutly love Frannie she is always so happy and uplifting. I look forward to talking with her every time I go in. She motivates me and keeps me on track.

I have just started going to the gym but have been made to feel very comfortable by the girls that work in the morning on week days. Franny is friendly and funny and Alyssa is very sweet. Keep up the great work girls.

Decent. Recently got WiFi, which is a big improvement. Never so busy you cant get on a machine. Clean, I often see staff making sure everything is neat and clean.

I love going to this gym. Ive never had a bad experience and the staff is always welcoming. But The only downfall is, I wish they were open 24 hours.

This club is immaculate, new management, well run and great staff. Just added a new Hydro Massage bed, and Private massage chair room. Very nice.
